Introducing Blush Pink & Black Vintage Cameo Wedding Stationery Collection

Hopefully you liked the new Tuscany collection of wedding stationery which I featured yesterday and launched on the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk this week.
Today I'm featuring the next of the new stationery collections ... Vintage Cameo.
This range comes in two beautiful colour combinations - Blush Pink & Black or Wedgewood Blue & Black ... and can be used on their own or mixed and matched if you wish to use both colours.

This morning I'm looking at the blush pink and black colour combination.

I previously had another range called Vintage Cameo when I first started Knots & Kisses, but took it off the website a couple of years ago as I felt it was starting to look a little dated. However, I’ve always still loved the idea of the cameo motif and really wanted to design a range which would incorporate this back into my wedding stationery collections. I love the film ‘My Fair Lady’ and definitely took the ‘day at the races’ scene as inspiration for the black, white and pastel pink or pastel blue colour scheme with stripes.

This range also comes with the Day Invitation Pack wrapped in a monogrammed band … it’s a look I really like at the moment and think works well with a lot of my design ideas.

Blue & White Vintage China Wedding Inspiration

This afternoon I'm sharing a wedding inspiration moodboard to match the new 'China Blue' range of wedding stationery which I showcased this morning.
I love the mix of classic blue and white willow pattern china with more rustic elements such as the sprigs of daisies and twine. Mixed with lots of crisp white it looks incredibly elegant and spring like.

Mauve And Pale Pink Country Garden Wedding Inspiration

Hopefully you liked my new range of wedding stationery 'Country Garden' which I shared this morning on the blog.
To match this stationery this afternoon I'm sharing a moodboard I have created to help you with styling your wedding to match this range.
I see Country Garden with lots of rustic elements .. perhaps your table plan mounted on a wooden door, jam jars tied with string and filled with wildflower bouquets of pink roses and daisies. I would add in some beautiful vintage lace .. perhaps as a table runner and certainly in the dress of the bride, and dress the groom in a fun and colourful pink gingham shirt and bow tie!

Mint And Pale Pink Ombre Wedding Inspiration

Hope you liked the first of my new Spring Collections of wedding stationery 'Ombre' this morning.
This afternoon to match the new range I have created a wedding moodboard as inspiration for how to style this stationery.
I automatically when designing the range saw it going really well with lots of gorgeous gold glitter and sequins and a dip dye wedding dress ( a bit extreme for some I know .. but definitely fun, and you can find some gorgeous very subtly pale dip dye dresses out there as well.)

Tropical Travel Themed Wedding Moodboard!

Brown Manila & Lace Rustic Luxe Wedding Stationery and Ideas

Wow what a scorcher of a weekend! I hope you all managed to enjoy the sunshine.
I was celebrating my gorgeous niece's 4th Birthday up in the Midlands and supplying her with lots of Cath Kidston goodies I'd bought her .. she looked incredibly cute!

Last week on the blog I was talking about the trend for 'Rustic Luxe' and today I want to share with you some wedding invitations I designed for a couple recently which fall right into that trend.
Using brown manila pocketfolds and layers of lace embellishment with a fun little luggage tag design I think they combine just the right amount of luxury and prettiness with a rustic twist.

I've also put together a wedding styling moodboard to go with this stationery.
I think its all about using rustic elements .. perhaps your venue already has a fantastic rustic backdrop (an old barn or tipi tent) ... and layering this up with lots of white linen and lace to create a luxurious feel. Lace napkins on a brown manila or kraft paper runner would be fantastic, and tying bundles of cutlery with lace ribbon would also add a luxurious touch for very little extra money.

Forest Green & Wood Wedding Inspiration

I shared with you on Monday the bespoke design I had created for Sarah & Kris for their wedding stationery http://knotsandkisses.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/bespoke-wedding-stationery-with.html .
Sarah & Kris are having a forest green and white colour combination mixed with natural wood details which I think is going to look really beautiful! In fact the groom, who works with wood by profession, is making the table plan and table numbers himself from wood.

I've put together a few ideas below for those of you who would like to use this scheme for your wedding. Crisp greens and whites in your linen and flowers work really well with more rustic wooden elements to create a fresh modern feel which could work for a wedding at any time of the year. I love the idea of a wooden table runner running down the middle of your tables ... and round log cuts, which need not be expensive, used as place mats or for stacking your wedding cake on.
The combination of dark green satin ribbon and wooden and twine elements could make for a really beautiful 'Rustic Luxe' feel ... a trend I mentioned last week that just seems to be running and running at the moment!

Bicycles in Blue - Wedding Reception Stationery & Styling

Good morning all! Welcome to a new week here at Knots & Kisses.
Its starting to get to that time of year when I have lots of reception stationery to design and make for lots of lovely couples who ordered invitations off me earlier in the year or last year.

Today I want to share with you the matching reception stationery that I have made for a bespoke version of my Sketch range of invitations which I created for the lovely Laura & Andrew.
Instead of one of the regular motifs I sketched out a tandem bike with a bride and groom on and also changed the background colour to a gorgeous blue.

For styling ideas to match this wedding I created a moodboard in shades of wedgewood blue with rustic elements to match the string and brown kraft details in the stationery.

A Pretty Green Wonderland Wedding Theme & Stationery

Hello! Sorry for the lack of blog post yesterday ... I had a bit of a mental weekend visiting friends in London & Surrey and didn't get back until very late Sunday night! So you're getting the usual 'Styling & Stationery' post on a Tuesday instead this week :)

I often create bespoke versions of my stationery ... especially my Sketch range ... and this is a version of my Sketch range incorporating a pale green colour and a 'Alice in Wonderland' motif for a couple who wanted a 'subtle' Wonderland look rather than the very themed look of my actual 'Wonderland' range of stationery.

I imagine the styling for this wedding to a 'woodland tea party' in shades of green, grey, brown and cream, and with just subtle touches of the wonderland theme in the form of pocket watches, books and flowers in teapots. Here's the moodboard I've created to match ...

Sketch - Lavender & Twine Wedding Reception Stationery

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend! Mine was spent having a bit of a relax at my Mums in Birmingham for her birthday - which was fantastic after such a hectic week!

On to today and I wanted to tell you about some reception stationery I'm currently working on for a lovely client. 
As I've mentioned before my Sketch range of Wedding Stationery is really easily adapted to suit any colour scheme or wedding design, and I am often sketching out new motifs which better suit the clients wedding and changing the background colour to suit their colourscheme.

Last year I adapted the design for an English / Scottish theme with a lavender colourscheme.

And this week I'll be working on the reception stationery to match this lavender set of stationery .. including a menu design and order of service.

Woodland Fairytale Wedding Inspiration

Hello all!

Today I wanted to share with you a wedding inspiration mood board that I have created to help you style your own Woodland Fairytale wedding!

I think the best way about going about creating this look is to mix a good amount of rustic elements, such as hessian, wood, & Kraft card with pretty pinks, reds and greens and lots of lace and velvet. That way you get a very pretty ethereal woodland look.
Lace dresses and accessories look wonderful, along with crowns of flowers. I also think if you are trying to create a magical woodland feel for your wedding ... even if its in a marquee ... then lighting is exceptionally important. Of course chandeliers would be wonderful but strings of pretty fairy lights work equally as well. And if you are dressing a marquee rather than a woodland with this look bring in lots of natural foliage to create the same feel :)

Vintage Travel Wedding Inspiration

I hope you all loved the launch of my new range of Wedding Stationery 'Vintage Travel' which launched on the blog and website yesterday. If you didn't see it you can see some of it below and find the whole of the new range on the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk .

Following on from the launch I wanted to share with you some of the styling ideas I've put together to give you some Vintage Travel wedding inspiration for your own big day!
Obviously vintage suitcases are a great styling prop for a travel inspired wedding ... you could also use vintage maps as bunting and use photos of your favourite destinations on each table.
The moodboard I've put together uses these elements plus a gorgeous mix of browns, creams and lace to give that real vintage feel. Rather than using bright reds and blues from the airmail motif I've used rust reds and dusky blues, just as I've done with the stationery range. I think it gives it a softer more vintage feel.
