Nautical Navy, White And Pale Pink Wedding Inspiration Moodboard

Following on from sharing the bespoke designs of wedding stationery I created for the lovely Diana & Chris on Monday's blog http://knotsandkisses.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/nautical-navy-white-pink-bespoke.html I decided to create a moodboard to go with this gorgeous nautical theme.
I've gone for the crisp White, Navy and Pale Pink colour combination which we ended up using on Diana & Chris' stationery as its such a strong and classic look and to be honest you don't need to over do it with the nautical them when it comes to styling - the combination of Navy and White will do a lot of the work for you - especially when combined with striped patterns. I couldn't resist the wedding sign made out of oars though - such a cute idea!

Bespoke Apple Green & Herb Wedding Invitations & Wedding Inspiration

I'm very excited today! Not only is it now the start of December and I can start getting officially excited about Christmas .. I've been internally excited for about a month but now's it's December I'm allowed to share! ... but also because I can finally share with you the wedding invitations I designed earlier this year for my really close friends Dannii & Aaron who are getting married next March!

The brief was elegant with a splash of green and in consultation with them we decided on a textured cream pocketfold design which incorporated the monogram badge which I had used on their Save the Date cards last year.
I also incorporated the sketch I had done of their venue ... the gorgeous Ravenswood in Sussex .. and a herb motif which will run through the stationery.

The picture above shows the front of the pocketfold day invitations at the top and the co-ordinating evening invitations below which were wrapped in a matching apple green and herb print band.
The inside of the pocketfold invitation which included an information card and a rsvp postcard is shown below.

I loved working on these invitations and, as I'm a bridesmaid at the wedding as well, I'm super excited for next March and to work on the reception stationery items to match.
I've created a moodboard below based on the apple green and cream colour scheme and with a bit of a herb theme ... so if you are looking for something similar for your wedding hopefully this will give you inspiration.
If you would like a similar bespoke design for your stationery just drop me an email at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk

Autumn Berry Wedding Inspiration Moodboard

On Monday I shared the 'Autumn Berry' version of my Country Garden range which I designed for a client recently and today wanted to share with you a moodboard I've put together of wedding ideas to match this colour palette and theme.
The idea of the stationery was to mix a quite rustic country feel with purples, plums, raspberries and a hint of rust orange.
I love some of the flowers I've found as inspiration below with gorgeous plum berries and blackcurrants mixed in and I desperately want to try a 'pie pop' at a Autumn wedding .. perfect if your guests are feeling the chill!

And just in case you didn't see the post on Monday here's the stationery I designed to go with it ...

Mauve & Pale Green Floral Pocketfold Wedding Invitations

I hope you're all having a lovely bank holiday weekend and enjoying some sunshine!
Today I want to share with you some very pretty pocketfold invitations which I created as a bespoke order for one of my lovely clients recently.
They loved one of my previous bespoke designs which was a floral pocketfold with lace embellishment and ribbon but wanted to adapt it for their wedding with prettier fonts and a mauve and pale green colourscheme.

I think this colourscheme is so pretty and elegant .. the dusky mauve colour is enchanting and reminds me of moonlit evenings and dining alfresco.
Here are some styling ideas I've put together to match this scheme...

Rustic Blue & White Wedding Stationery With Bird Print

Recently I adapted my Sketch range of stationery for a lovely bride who loved the Bird motif which is available as standard in the range http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/sketchcollection.html but wanted it to match her wedding which was a more duck egg blue colour.
As always I am more than happy to offer colour changes .. and the Sketch range is particularly adaptable to suit any wedding scheme. You can even have a bespoke motif drawn if the choice of 3 standard motifs doesn't suit.

Here's how the range looked in 'Puffin Blue' which was the colour that was eventually decided upon...

I love that the Sketch range has a slightly rustic feel, with the string and brown kraft envelopes, and so I have put together a Inspiration Moodboard to match this new colour scheme ... but definitely still kept the rustic edge.

Modern White, Grey & Navy Chevron Wedding Stationery & Inspiration

Can you believe its February! Already a month into this year and its feels like 2014 is flying by! I had such a busy week last week .. filled with wedding stationery orders, greetings card orders and lots of work on the new Spring Collections! I also had a lovely visit to beautiful Arts & Crafts wedding venue Coombe Trenchard, which isn't too far from where I am in Okehampton ... I hope to bring you lots more on this venue soon.

Today I'm concentrating on a design which I created for a lovely couple recently ... who are based in South Africa but getting married in the UK this year.
Danielle & Christiaan opted to adapt one of my existing wedding stationery ranges, Graphic Prints, to suit their wedding scheme. This is a great option for any of you out there who would like something a bit more bespoke but don't want to stretch to booking a whole bespoke package ... as it costs just a small fee of £25. (Take a look at the existing designs on my website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk ).

Danielle & Christiaan went for a simple navy and white chevron band and grey backing card to compliment their wedding and I think it worked really well ...

Obviously some of the details on the image are blocked out to protect client privacy.

I would love to style a wedding with this scheme. Keeping things very simple with crisp white linens, perhaps a navy chevron table runner and some beautiful white flowers tied with navy and white ribbon. Its a classic scheme but with a modern twist with the addition of grey and the chevron pattern.

I hope this has inspired some design ideas for your wedding ... and if you would like to get in touch with regards to adapting one of my existing designs or creating a bespoke design for you then just drop me an email at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk or contact us via the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk/contactus.html

Re-Introducing The Woodland Fairytale Collection of Wedding Stationery

Well its only a week before the relatives start to descend for Christmas and I don't know about the rest of you but our house is starting to look pretty damn festive! Obviously the tree is up, presents are wrapped and around it and my dining table is stacked with kilner jars and jam jars filled with chocolates and chutneys all ready to give as presents.
A few more orders to complete next week and then a whole two week break ... I can't wait!

Today though I wanted to carry on with re-introducing you to some of the wedding stationery collections which had a bit of a re-style when the website was relaunched in October.
As I've said before many of the collections have had many new items added to the range .. including Guest Books, Envelope Liners and Address Labels and matching Ready to Write packs .. so there should be something there for every budget.

The Woodland Fairytale collection especially looks fantastic I think with its matching envelope liners and new style Orders of Service ... and its a perfect look for a wedding at any time of year with its colourful flowers but more muted rustic colours.

The inspiration for Woodland Fairytale was Secret Gardens and Magical Woodlands .. woodland floors strewn with pine cones and rustic Kraft card. That touch of lace and colourful florals keeps it pretty. You can see the full range and all the stationery options that come with it on the website at http://knotsandkisses.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/woodland-fairytale-wedding-inspiration.html
I absolutely love the new photographs we took of this range ... I think the dark wood background and little 'apple berries' worked a treat!

As always for the Woodland Fairytale range, I've created a moodboard to match ... which should hopefully inspire you as to how to style this range into your own wedding.

Autumn Flowers - Rose Cottage Wedding Stationery & Styling

Hello! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! As well as finishing off a few stationery orders, I finally started to get all Christmassy this weekend ... finalising how I'm going to wrap my presents this year ( yes I am that obsessed! ) ... and making lots of warming meals to have in the freezer for when family descends. I'm also quite pleased with myself as I had my first go at tempering chocolate and made a Chocolate Iced Millefeuille with it ... Yes that's basically a homemade Vienetta!

Also a last quick message that voting closes today for the Wedding Ideas Magazine awards ... I would absolutely love for those of you who have ordered from Knots & Kisses or who are just fans of what I do here to consider voting for us in the Wedding Stationery category. We would really appreciate it! Just follow the link to http://www.weddingideasmag.com/wedding-ideas-awards-2014-voting-form/

Anyway back to weddings ...

Today I want to share with you another of the 'off the peg' ranges of wedding stationery on my website which has had a little bit of a revamp since the new website launched .. Rose Cottage.

As with all of the other ranges I re-photographed and re-styled each existing range and have also added matching envelope liners and address labels which you can chose to add to your order to complete the look. There is also a new Guestbook option and, for those on a budget or in a hurry a matching 'ready to write' Simply K&K invitation pack.

Here are my styling ideas to match the Rose Cottage range .. I think the range has a lovely warm autumnal feel ... but remember for just a small bespoke fee of £25 I can adapt the range into almost any colour way to match your wedding scheme!

Vintage Travel Wedding Stationery And Styling Ideas

Its been so busy here at Knots & Kisses last week I decided to take a little bit of a break from the blog ... only for a few days but I've now definitely back in the zone and wanting to share with you lots of gorgeous wedding products and stationery.
On that note I always love to hear from fellow wedding professionals ... especially small businesses ... and photographers, with gorgeous wedding products that my readers might be interested in or fantastic real weddings which they would like to showcase! Last week I was working on an order of my Vintage Travel range, amongst other things, and as Vintage travel had a little revamp at the same time as the website was updated and I refreshed everything else I though I'd share it with you today.

A Bejewelled Wedding Stationery Set and Inspiration

I'm currently working on a bespoke version of my Bejewelled wedding stationery for some clients in a gorgeous Plum and Gold colour, which I can't wait to show you photos of when they are done!
Bejewelled is a range which no longer appears on the website ... however I am more than happy to do on a bespoke basis for clients. In this way there are many more colour options I can offer and the style of the embellishment can be more tailored to the clients wedding as well.
Here is the original Bejewelled design which came in classic black and ivory with either script style or Art Deco style fonts.

And some old style Hollywood Glamour inspiration to go with the design ...

Introducing A New Range of Wedding Stationery - Tropical Travel

I hope you're enjoying seeing all the new things and collections which are being launched on the new look Knots And Kisses website this week. http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

This morning I am featuring the last of the four new Wedding Stationery ranges that I have launched to coincide with the new website.
This one is called Tropical Travel.

I am often asked to design wedding stationery for clients who are getting married abroad. I already have my Vintage Travel range … but with that having more of a colonial feel, I wanted to come up with something which would be appeal to those clients who wanted a more colourful, tropical theme.

I was inspired by my travels to Thailand & Australia and so went for brightly coloured flowers and a contrasting map print mixed with dark woods and printed leather ties. The bright pink printed luggage tags add a fun element and make the design very easy to personalise.

Available as a folded square, pocketfold or postcard style invitation, with a full matching range of reception stationery … including my new range of Guest Books and Simply KandK Blank Invitation Packs.

This design was inspired by a bespoke design I created for a recent client so I am using the moodboard I created for it as an illustration on how to get the Tropical Travel look.

Although that is the last of the new Wedding Stationery ranges I have launched this week, there is still plenty more to come! Later this afternoon I'll be sharing the brand new Occasion Stationery and Party Invitations I have designed so be sure to check back later.

Introducing A New Range Of Wedding Stationery - Perfect Place

Hopefully you caught this mornings blog post and saw the new Snow Queen range of Wedding Stationery. This afternoon I'm featuring the third of the new Wedding Stationery range called 'Perfect Place'. http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

Perfect Place was inspired by a bespoke design for a client who contacted me wanting a sketch of her beautiful lakeside venue incorporating into her wedding stationery. I absolutely love sketching out anything bespoke to incorporate into clients invitations so was delighted to do this. I came up with quite a clean modern look for the stationery which used quite strong typography and  a ‘monogram’ motif of the clients initials.

It got me to thinking how lovely it would be to have a standard range on the website where I could draw an image of a place that was special to each client to incorporate into the stationery. This could be the place you met, your wedding venue, where you proposed … anything that means something to you as a couple. I will hand draw the venue and then this is used as a motif throughout your stationery.
With the neutral colours and classic style I think ‘Perfect Place’ could suit a lot of wedding schemes.

Available as a folded square, pocketfold or postcard style invitation, with a full matching range of reception stationery … including my new range of Guest Books and Simply KandK Blank Invitation Packs.
To match a classic black and ivory moodboard ...

Tomorrow I'll be featuring the last of the new wedding stationery ranges, Tropical Travel, and also my brand new collection of Occasion Stationery and Party Invitations!

Introducing A New Range of Wedding Stationery - Snow Queen

A new day and I'm excited to share with you the second of my new ranges of wedding stationery which launched on the Knots And Kisses website yesterday http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

This range is called 'Snow Queen'

Snow Queen was inspired by a bespoke design for a client who contacted me wanting a ‘Chronicles of Narnia’ inspiration for her wedding … but she was also after something with a floral forties feel, and didn’t want it to feel too ‘themed’.

I’ve taken inspiration from the design I created for her to come up with this brand new range. I wanted the range to look wintery without looking cold … and so used warm creams and dusky pinks alongside a frosty print in a warmer tone of grey.

The range is available as a folded square, pocketfold or postcard style invitation, with a full matching range of reception stationery and table plans … including my new range of Guest Books and Simply K&K Blank Invitation Packs.
To create a moodboard to match this range I've mixed the feel of the winter Narnia with lots of fake furs, dark wood and snow with beautiful blush pink florals.

Introducing New Wedding Stationery Range - Deco Glamour

I hope you all managed to catch the blog post this morning introducing the new website design and all the new items I've introduced to the website. http://knotsandkisses.co.uk
This afternoon I want to introduce you to the first of the new ranges of wedding stationery I have launched to add to my collections for 2014 ... 'Deco Glamour'.

Deco is still such a popular look for people ... especially at their weddings. I really wanted to incorporate a Deco look into my Wedding Stationery Collections. I’ve been meaning to for quite some time … but never quite came up with a design that I felt was right.

It just seemed to click when I started working on the new Deco Glamour range. I felt a stylish flat A5 design worked best to showcase the graphic lines of the deco period. A touch of gold and deco motifs are inspired by the glamour of the roaring twenties and would be perfect for a stylish hotel wedding.

Deco Glamour is available as a A5 flat or postcard style invitation, with a full matching range of reception stationery … including my new range of Guest Books and ‘Ready to Write’ Blank Invitation Packs.

To go with the new range, as always, I've created a matching moodboard to give you inspiration as to how to style this look for your wedding. The Deco look is all about glitz and glamour .. so plenty of moody dark colours mixed with gold and cream satin work perfectly. Accessories are a must so hair combs to pin back loose curls look great.

Classic Navy & Lace Wedding Stationery

I don't know about you but I can't believe it's the last day of September and tomorrow we're in October! As many of you may know October is going to be a very exciting month here at Knots & Kisses .. with the re-launch of the website, alongside 4 new Wedding Stationery ranges, new designs in my Simply K&K Ready to Write packs, new Greetings Cards designs and a whole new section of 'Occasion Stationery' packs .. including lots of lovely party invites! I'm so excited and I'll be starting to share little previews of the new items later this week ... all ready for the launch on the 21st October!

Back to today and I wanted to share with you a very pretty but classic design I worked on for a lovely Bride in Australia a few weeks ago. I do bespoke quotes for international orders so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you are from further afield!

Sarah wanted a very classic gatefold design with pretty white lace and navy ribbon. A script style font inside completed the classic look.

I think the Navy and Ivory colour combination calls for a bit of a classic vintage look when styling ...  so here are some ideas ...

I can't wait to share this all with you!

Back to today and recently I completed some reception stationery for a lovely client of mine who is getting married in gorgeous Cornwall this month.
