Introducing A New Range of Wedding Stationery - Snow Queen

A new day and I'm excited to share with you the second of my new ranges of wedding stationery which launched on the Knots And Kisses website yesterday http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

This range is called 'Snow Queen'

Snow Queen was inspired by a bespoke design for a client who contacted me wanting a ‘Chronicles of Narnia’ inspiration for her wedding … but she was also after something with a floral forties feel, and didn’t want it to feel too ‘themed’.

I’ve taken inspiration from the design I created for her to come up with this brand new range. I wanted the range to look wintery without looking cold … and so used warm creams and dusky pinks alongside a frosty print in a warmer tone of grey.

The range is available as a folded square, pocketfold or postcard style invitation, with a full matching range of reception stationery and table plans … including my new range of Guest Books and Simply K&K Blank Invitation Packs.
To create a moodboard to match this range I've mixed the feel of the winter Narnia with lots of fake furs, dark wood and snow with beautiful blush pink florals.

Introducing Our New Look Website!

Well the day is finally here! Today sees the re-launch of the Knots And Kisses website!
We have been working on the updates to the website for several months now and I'm over the moon to be able to finally share it all with you at http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

We've gone for a cleaner look on the website ... without hopefully losing the vintage florals, colours and gingham touches that say Knots And Kisses to me.
The Wedding Stationery section has an all new look, with great photos of each range and an easy scroll down feel for you to see all the items in each range and easily buy samples of anything you would like to see a sample of.
At the bottom of each range you can also now find my brand new range of matching Guest Books and my updated 'Simply K&K' Ready to Write Packs for those of you in a hurry or on a tight budget.
There are also 4 brand new ranges of Wedding Stationery! I'll be sharing more details of each of the new ranges of stationery throughout the week ... starting with 'Deco Glamour' this afternoon.

We've also added more Greetings Card Designs and Christmas Card Packs to this area of the website and I've designed a whole new section of the website called 'Occasion Stationery'! Here you will find lots of gorgeous ready to write party invitations ... including Birthday Invites, Baby Shower Invitations, Engagement Party Invites and lots more!
Again I'll be sharing lots more about all of these new items later in the week, so be sure to check back on the blog regularly!

Make sure you also check out all the existing ranges of stationery as well ... many of them, including 'Very British Wedding' & 'English Eccentrics' have had a major revamp ... and all of the new and existing ranges now come with a 'pocket' folded option and also the option to add Pre-printed Guest Address Labels & Envelope Liners to make every element of your stationery match.
We've also re-photographed everything in a new style which we hope you will like.

To coincide with the website re-design you will notice that this blog has had a little bit of a style makeover too! With a cleaner look and an easy bar across the top for you to be able to find out a little bit more about me and have easy access to the website. I've also given a lot more room for images .. so I can share really great photos with you.

I really hope you like all the changes we have made ... it would be great to hear your feedback!

I would finally like to add a massive thank you to my wonderful other half Anthony who, as well as having a full time job himself, is an integral part of what makes up Knots & Kisses, and has been working tirelessly with me most evenings and weekends over the last few months to put together the new website design.

Remember check back this afternoon for the first of the new Wedding Stationery ranges to be featured!

Brown Manila & Lace Rustic Luxe Wedding Stationery and Ideas

Wow what a scorcher of a weekend! I hope you all managed to enjoy the sunshine.
I was celebrating my gorgeous niece's 4th Birthday up in the Midlands and supplying her with lots of Cath Kidston goodies I'd bought her .. she looked incredibly cute!

Last week on the blog I was talking about the trend for 'Rustic Luxe' and today I want to share with you some wedding invitations I designed for a couple recently which fall right into that trend.
Using brown manila pocketfolds and layers of lace embellishment with a fun little luggage tag design I think they combine just the right amount of luxury and prettiness with a rustic twist.

If you would like me to come up with a similar bespoke design for your wedding please don't hesitate to get in touch at http://knotsandkisses.co.uk or via email at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk .

I've also put together a wedding styling moodboard to go with this stationery.
I think its all about using rustic elements .. perhaps your venue already has a fantastic rustic backdrop (an old barn or tipi tent) ... and layering this up with lots of white linen and lace to create a luxurious feel. Lace napkins on a brown manila or kraft paper runner would be fantastic, and tying bundles of cutlery with lace ribbon would also add a luxurious touch for very little extra money.

The New Graphic Prints Collection in Coral & Sage Green

Today I want to return to the New Graphic Prints Collection of Wedding Stationery which launched this week and share with you more images and styling ideas for the 'Graphic Knot' print in the collection which comes in a gorgeous Coral & Sage Green colourscheme ... although as before can be easily mixed and matched with the other prints in the collection.

As previously mentioned the Graphic Prints collection draws on influences of fifties and sixties retro design, but I also think that the Graphic Knot print has a hint of North African Moorish design to it and would also really compliment a wedding with these influences.

All Day & Evening Invitations come with a matching lined envelope and a full range of matching reception stationery.

Here are some of my styling ideas to match with the 'Graphic Knot' scheme ...

The New 'Rosie & Stitch' Collection of Wedding Stationery!

Following on from the blog yesterday today I'd like to introduce and tell you more about the new 'Rosie & Stitch' Collection of Wedding Stationery which I launched on Tuesday on the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk (Samples are available to purchase via the website now.)

The idea for Rosie & Stitch came into being from some stationery which I created for a styled table by Devon Vintage China at the Fabulous Wedding Festival I exhibited at in March.
The bright fun colours and cross stitch details really inspired me to create a full range of stationery from the few reception items I had created for their table and so 'Rosie & Stitch' was born!

I wanted to keep the range as bright and summery as possible ... inspired by the colours of Vintage crockery and embroidered samplers and linens ... and so the outside is a bright custard colour with china blue details and the inside of the invitations are a gorgeous green and pale pink. The Day Invitation can be purchased as either a plain folded card or as a pocketfold design, including a rsvp and information card.
All the matching reception stationery is also in a contrasting mix of all the colours to create maximum impact at your reception venue.

I've created a wedding styling moodboard that matches the range and carries on the fun floral theme ...

New Wedding Stationery Collections Launch!

Hi everyone ... I hope you've all had a fantastic bank holiday weekend!
I'm very excited this morning as today sees the launch of my Spring Collection of Wedding Stationery which sees the addition of 2 new ranges to the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk !

I have been developing ideas for these ranges for a while now and its fantastic to finally share them with you.
Both of the ranges aim to inject some bright colours and patterns to the existing collection of Wedding Stationery ranges so hopefully this sunny week is the perfect time for them :)
So here they are ...

The Graphic Prints Collection

The first collection ‘Graphic Prints’ continues my love of clean typography that I started in my Sketch range of stationery but with a cleaner, less rustic feel … using a modern band wrapped around the invitations in a choice of three graphic and slightly retro prints in a striking colour palette of Coral, Green, Grey and Mustard. Day & Evening Invitations come with matching printed envelope liners, but are also designed for clients to mix and match patterns as they wish!

Inspiration for this range came from my love of 1950s Swedish design and prints, and classic monochrome advertising and packaging.

I'll be sharing more images of this range tomorrow on the blog, including lots of styling inspiration to match.

The 'Rosie & Stitch' Collection

The second collection is called ‘Rosie & Stitch’ and is full of bright summery colours and fun floral prints and stripes. A yellow and pink floral print contrasts with a china blue and summery green and is inspired by vintage floral china and old embroidery samplers and stitching.

Day Invitations come as either a simple folded invitation or as a pocket style with information card and rsvp postcard inside.

I'll be featuring this collection on the blog on Thursday .. again with lots more images and styling ideas ... so make sure you check back then! And in the meantime you can see both new ranges and order samples on the website now at http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

Launching New Wedding Stationery Range : Vintage Travel

I do love the beginning of a New Year! There's a great sense of anticipation as to what the coming year holds, but mainly its because I always launch a couple of new wedding stationery ranges, and it's a great way to start the year! For full details of the new ranges please visit the website www.knotsandkisses.co.uk

I'll be launching another new range next Monday but today sees the launch of the first of my new ranges ...

'Vintage Travel'

I'm quite excited about this one as its an idea I've been working on for well over a year now! I spent quite a bit of time in my twenties travelling the world and then went on to become a travel agent for 3 years before starting Knots & Kisses, so I've always desperately wanted to create a range of wedding stationery based on my love of travel.
Its one of those things though that when you want to create something based on the thing you love it always takes so much more time to get perfect and so I've been playing around with this design for some time now.

I decided that I wanted to create a range of stationery which evoked the 'golden age' of travel ... with lots of vintage maps and stamp motifs and also incorporating an airmail style border.

'Vintage Travel' can be purchased either as individual postcards with matching brown kraft envelopes or as a 'Day Invitation Pack' , with a invitation, info card and rsvp postcard presented in a special manila box envelope with a pre-addressed band wrapped around all ready to post out to your guests!

Of course their is also a full range of matching reception stationery. To keep with the theme this includes placecards in a 'luggage tag' style, as well as menus, table names and table plans and 'swing ticket' style Order of Service.

I really hope you love the range as much as I do! If you would like to order 'Vintage Travel' for your wedding further information and prices can be found on my website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk or you can drop me an email at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk

Please check back on the blog tomorrow as I'll be sharing my styling ideas for the 'Vintage Travel' range which you can use for your wedding inspiration!

Brand New Wedding Stationery Range : Simply Knots & Kisses

Today sees a new direction for Knots and Kisses! A brand new section for my website in fact!
In the new section you will find a new concept for Knots and Kisses ... http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

Since I launched the company I have always created, and will continue to create, stationery which is personalised to the couple and their vision for their wedding. However I've always wanted to create a 'simpler' concept for the website to run along side this which allows couples to buy packs of stationery that they could fill in themselves. Similar to the packs you can buy from many high street stores .. but hopefully with a more design edge and a Knots and Kisses vintage twist.
My thoughts .. why should Brides and Grooms who want to send out Wedding Stationery quickly and simply be limited in their choices?!
I wanted to create a range of stationery for those couples on a tight budget or a short time schedule, but that was still stylish and still embodied the design influences and philosophy behind Knots and Kisses. So here it is ... 'Simply Knots And Kisses' !

'Simply Knots And Kisses' allows you to buy blank invitations already laid out for you to just simply fill in the information relevant to your wedding.
Go onto the 'Simply' section of the website and you will be able to customise your design by picking from a selection of designs, colours and fonts to make the perfect stationery for your wedding.
You then simply place an order and you will receive your packs of wedding stationery in the post within 10 working days! All of this for only £12.00 for a pack of 10 invitations & envelopes.

Here are the motifs you can choose from. They are displayed here on a white background .. but when you click through to the Simply K And K section on the website you will be able to click on the various colours of card and see what your chosen motif will look like with your chosen colour of card.
(The coloured motifs will have a limited choice of background colour )

The card colours available are ...
You can also pick whether you want formal or informal wording templates on the back of the card and you will also have a choice of white, cream or brown kraft envelopes.

To start mixing and matching your own stationery packs just follow the links to the 'Simply K And K' range in the wedding stationery section of the website! http://knotsandkisses.co.uk
