Brown Manila & Lace Rustic Luxe Wedding Stationery and Ideas

Wow what a scorcher of a weekend! I hope you all managed to enjoy the sunshine.
I was celebrating my gorgeous niece's 4th Birthday up in the Midlands and supplying her with lots of Cath Kidston goodies I'd bought her .. she looked incredibly cute!

Last week on the blog I was talking about the trend for 'Rustic Luxe' and today I want to share with you some wedding invitations I designed for a couple recently which fall right into that trend.
Using brown manila pocketfolds and layers of lace embellishment with a fun little luggage tag design I think they combine just the right amount of luxury and prettiness with a rustic twist.

I've also put together a wedding styling moodboard to go with this stationery.
I think its all about using rustic elements .. perhaps your venue already has a fantastic rustic backdrop (an old barn or tipi tent) ... and layering this up with lots of white linen and lace to create a luxurious feel. Lace napkins on a brown manila or kraft paper runner would be fantastic, and tying bundles of cutlery with lace ribbon would also add a luxurious touch for very little extra money.

Vintage Postcard Style Wedding Invitations & Inspiration

Hello all! Welcome to a brand new week here on the Knots & Kisses blog :)
I don't know about you but I can't wait till spring arrives ... I've just about had enough of the grotty weather and I keep seeing so many pretty spring wedding details about!
On that note I'd like to share with you some bespoke stationery I recently designed and posted out to one of my lovely clients.
The stationery is a set of pretty floral and brown paper inspired postcards all tied up with some beautiful cream lace and accessorised with a kraft envelope.

I love the little hints of green and pink in this stationery ... and I'm a bit obsessed with this beautiful cream lace at the moment!

I've come up with a moodboard to give you some inspiration on how to style a wedding with these soft colours and lace details.

Present Wrapping - My Love of Brown Paper & Lace

Just a quick blog post from me this morning!
It will be no surprise to most of you that I'm a little bit obsessed by all things paper! And this doesn't end with stationery .. I'm also completely addicted to making presents look pretty. My other half often jokes that I spend more time and money on the wrapping than I do on the actual presents when it comes to christmas!

I'm particularly addicted at the moment to wrapping presents in brown paper and string before adding lace and a handmade tag to pretty it up. This present was for my friends Baby Shower ....
