Today I'm delighted to share with you some reception stationery which I designed for a couple of www.bluefizzevents.co.uk clients who got married earlier this month.
I had previously designed their wedding invitation around a rustic brown Kraft and postage theme and designed their reception stationery to match.
They had brown Kraft and string tags for their placecards with a little postage mark on ...
And I designed a table plan to fit in a hessian frame they had already purchased which had the tables on string attached with small brown pegs to continue the rustic theme ...
Here's a picture of their invitations which this reception stationery matched and I designed earlier in the year ...
If you would like me to design something similar for your wedding stationery then please don't hesitate to get in touch via my website www.knotsandkisses.co.uk or drop me an email to info@knotsandkisses.co.uk

Rustic Brown Kraft & Cream Postcard Inspired Wedding Invitations
As always I love sharing my bespoke designs with you on the blog. Today I'm sharing a design which I created for some clients of the lovely Tracy at Blue Fizz Events http://www.bluefizzevents.co.uk/ .
Tracy contacted me as her clients who are based in France wanted rustic stationery inspired by vintage postcards but with a brown Kraft finish.
First I created at digital electronic Save the Date which they could email out to all their guests and then a full Invitation Pack which I posted directly out to their guests for them.
If you purchase address labels from me and also pay for the postage I will happily provide this extra service so you have nothing to do but sit and wait for the RSVPs to come in!

Autumnal Vintage Rose Cottage Wedding Stationery
What with the weather being so very Autumnal at the moment and the leaves finally falling off the trees I've been thinking very much about Autumn inspired wedding stationery over the last week. Weddings in the, traditionally 'off season', Autumn period are becoming more and popular with couples as they look to save money. Its also a magical time of year to get married if you are looking for beautiful lighting for your wedding photography and a backdrop of gorgeous russet coloured leaves and trees.
I will be launching another autumn themed range of stationery in the new year but today I thought I would revisit my Rose Cottage range which has a lovely rustic Autumnal feel to it in shades of blush, cream and russet red with a brown kraft paper band and envelope.
The Rose Cottage range also has vintage stamp details and is tied up in string ... giving your guests a lovely parcel to open.
Add Rose print envelope liners and address labels to complete the look and purchase from a full range of matching reception stationery.
You can purchase samples from my Rose Cottage collection via the website at http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/rosecottageweddingstaionery.html

Rustic Lace and Hessian Boxed Wedding Invitations
Today I want to share with you some gorgeous rustic bespoke invitations which I finished for one of my clients recently.
The brief was rustic but pretty and so I created some brown Kraft folded pocketfold style invitations with hessian and lace. The clients names and wedding date were printed onto a tag and strung onto the outside of the invitations and then they were all boxed up in brown Kraft boxes, tied with string and a bespoke address label added so they could be posted straight to the guests.
If you would like a similar bespoke design for your wedding please don't hesitate to drop me an email at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk or check out the bespoke packages on the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

To match this bespoke design I've created a moodboard of wedding inspiration to help inspire your wedding if you like this style ... the style is definitely Rustic but with pretty elements ... so lots of lace, cream flowers etc but with hessian details and rustic touches. I love the jam jar favours stacked up high ...

Autumnal Country Garden Wedding Invitations
Last month I was asked by a client to design a more 'autumnal' version of my Country Garden range to go with her wedding this year which was in more 'berry and rustic' colours. I can do colour changes to any of my existing ranges for a very small fee of £25 so was really excited to see what Country Garden would look like in this colour palette!
The client ended up opting for the original Country Garden colour palette as she decided she just loved the original too much ... but I've decided to share with you the autumnal version as I really liked the results and it shows what can be done to change an existing range :)
If you would like to discuss colour and design changes to one of my existing ranges for your wedding stationery then please don't hesitate to get in touch via the contact page of the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

Rustic Lemon & Cream Wedding Invitations & Inspiration
Welcome to a new week on the Knots & Kisses blog!
I hope you all had a wonderfully sunny week ... I know we did down here in Devon .. it was glorious!
Today I want to share with you some pretty rustic stationery which I created for one of my clients last month.
Jilly wanted a rustic look and, as a gardener, wanted to incorporate the flowers she is using .. carnations and grasses. After a bespoke consultation at my home we decided on a layered style similar to my sketch range but in a tall format. Here are the designs I came up with ...

Personalised Anniversary Poster Bespoke Colonial Style
Today I wanted to share with you a poster I designed for one of my clients who got married just over a year ago.
The lovely groom contacted me asking me to design a 'timeline' style poster of their first year of marriage in the style of their wedding stationery that he could give his wife for their first anniversary. What a lovely idea! Of course I was really happy to help out. I love hearing from my clients after their wedding .. its so nice when they want anniversary presents, thank you cards or even baby shower or christening invitations .. and to hear how they are getting on.
Prash & Manolee's Wedding Invitation were a bespoke rustic, colonial style to reflect their African and Hindu heritages .. here is the anniversary poster I created and also the original stationery, along with a bespoke moodboard I created at the time to match.
If you would like me to design a bespoke timeline poster for your wedding or anniversary then please don't hesitate to get in touch via the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk or email me direct at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk

Bespoke Wedding Invitations With A Tree Motif
As I've mentioned before one of my most popular ranges of wedding stationery is the Sketch range http://knotsandkisses.co.uk/sketchcollection.html .. mainly because for a small bespoke fee of £25.00 I can change the colourscheme and motif to suit your wedding scheme.
One of my recent clients Jo had decided she wanted trees and leaves as the theme for her wedding with a pale green colour scheme.
We decided that the 'powder green' backing card would be best and I came up with a 'tree motif' fot the top of the invitations.
Obviously I've blurred out some of my clients details to protect their privacy.
I think this colour green is a really beautiful and subtle one for a wedding and perfect for a light spring or summer feel, especially with crisp white linens and touches of pale mushroom.
I've created a moodboard of matching wedding inspiration to inspire you if you want this colour for your wedding.

Pretty, Pale & Interesting Wedding Style
Its been a busy week here at Knots & Kisses .. its definitely getting to that time of year when lots of enquiries for stationery for next Spring and Summers weddings starts flooding in ... so I've had lots of samples to package up and send. My new party invitations and occasion stationery packs http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/occasionsstationery.html are also doing well so there will be a few Christening and Baby Shower invitations winging there way in the post too :)
This week I've found myself thinking about a bespoke design I will be creating in the next few weeks for a client and working with a theme of really pretty neutrals.
So here is some of the inspiration I've been looking at which may hopefully inspire your wedding plans ...
I particularly love the elegant informal bridal hairstyle and the vintage 'lounge' set up outdoors for your guests ...

Pretty & Rustic Wedding Reception Stationery
Well autumn is definitely here isn't it! Fortunately the rain didn't hamper plans here at Knots & Kisses HQ this weekend as we spent most of the weekend on the computers doing design work on the new website update and new stationery ranges for October.
I had several brides getting married at the weekend though so I'm really hoping that the rain didn't dampen their days and a lovely time was had by all.
Speaking of this weeks weddings .. today I wanted to share with you the reception stationery I created for a lovely couple who were getting married in the Cotswolds on Friday.
I previously shared with you their invitations which I was commissioned to create by the lovely Rachel, The Cotswold Wedding Planner.
Rachel also wanted me to create some very special and unique stationery to match for the big day itself, to fit in with their pretty but rustic theme with a subtle wood print.
Here is a photo of the Order of Service, Escort cards and Guestbook I created.
One of the main items I designed was a unique Guestbook. Not only was this to be a guestbook where guests could fill in the answers to some questions about the big day and their advice for the couple, but also a Scrapbook of the day .. to include their Design Brief, copies of their stationery, samples of fabrics used and messages from the children.
In this way they have all of the memories of their wedding ( minus the photos of course ) in one place to look back on.
Here are some of the designs for the inside pages of the Guestbook ...
I also created some large A1 Posters to display on the entrance to the venue for the day ... here is the poster detailing the Bridal Party ...
Hopefully I'll have lots more photos to share with you of this wedding stationery from the official photos on the day ... I can't wait to see how it all looked in situe!

Brown Manila & Lace Rustic Luxe Wedding Stationery and Ideas
Wow what a scorcher of a weekend! I hope you all managed to enjoy the sunshine.
I was celebrating my gorgeous niece's 4th Birthday up in the Midlands and supplying her with lots of Cath Kidston goodies I'd bought her .. she looked incredibly cute!
Last week on the blog I was talking about the trend for 'Rustic Luxe' and today I want to share with you some wedding invitations I designed for a couple recently which fall right into that trend.
Using brown manila pocketfolds and layers of lace embellishment with a fun little luggage tag design I think they combine just the right amount of luxury and prettiness with a rustic twist.
I've also put together a wedding styling moodboard to go with this stationery.
I think its all about using rustic elements .. perhaps your venue already has a fantastic rustic backdrop (an old barn or tipi tent) ... and layering this up with lots of white linen and lace to create a luxurious feel. Lace napkins on a brown manila or kraft paper runner would be fantastic, and tying bundles of cutlery with lace ribbon would also add a luxurious touch for very little extra money.

Weekly Wedding Inspiration - Rural Country Lilacs & Pinks
Hope you've all had a lovely week! I'm going to spending the weekend making a Vintage Suitcase style table plan for a fabulous wedding on the 8th June. There will definitely be photos to follow after the wedding as I'm thinking of adding the suitcase table plan hire as a standard service on the website :)
Meantime, this week, I've been strangely drawn to the colour lilac!
Not that odd you would think until you understand that for most of my life I avoided any shade of purple as it was my little sister's favourite colour and obsession!
I like the idea for a wedding of mixing deep lilacs and pinks with rustic elements for a really pretty relaxed wedding feel ...

Mauve And White Rustic Wedding Stationery and Inspiration
Today I wanted to share with you a version of my Sketch range of Wedding Stationery which I adapted for a client recently.
Sketch is available in three standard colours http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/sketch.html , however it can be changed to a variety of colours depending on your wedding scheme and I also, for no extra charge, create bespoke illustrations for the range.
In this instance the lovely Bride wanted a sketch of her wedding venue as the motif and a mauve and white colour scheme to match her wedding.
Here are the Save the Date cards I created, which came with a rustic brown Kraft envelope.

A Cosy Tartan Winter Wedding Theme
Woo Hoo Its Friday! I'm not normally this excited about Friday as I work most weekends ... but this weekend my family are coming down to Devon for a visit and I get to see my gorgeous niece and nephew (aswell as my Sister, Brother In Law & Mum of course!!) . I'm looking forward to a weekend of long walks on Dartmoor, wrapped up from the cold, a big Sunday Roast and finally getting some logs on our fire to snuggle up in the evening!
On this theme I started thinking about how lovely a winter wedding would be with elements of tartan and cosy blankets.
Here's some of the inspiration and ideas I came up with ... rather than going for the obvious winter theme of a dark red tartan and going all christmassy, I've used pinks, blues and greens for a warm winter feel without the christmas overtones.

A Wedding Theme : Rustic Sunflowers
I'm often asked to incorporate peoples wedding flowers into the theme for their wedding stationery and Sunflowers are always popular for those looking for florals which really stand out.
In the past I've created stationery with a striking black and yellow modern look to go with the sunflowers, but the flowers also look beautiful in a vintage rustic setting.
Here's an adaptation of my Sketch range of Wedding Stationery with a Sunflower Motif, which would be tied in string and come with a brown kraft envelope just like the rest of the range ... http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/sketch.html
