I'm very excited today! Not only is it now the start of December and I can start getting officially excited about Christmas .. I've been internally excited for about a month but now's it's December I'm allowed to share! ... but also because I can finally share with you the wedding invitations I designed earlier this year for my really close friends Dannii & Aaron who are getting married next March!
The brief was elegant with a splash of green and in consultation with them we decided on a textured cream pocketfold design which incorporated the monogram badge which I had used on their Save the Date cards last year.
I also incorporated the sketch I had done of their venue ... the gorgeous Ravenswood in Sussex .. and a herb motif which will run through the stationery.
The picture above shows the front of the pocketfold day invitations at the top and the co-ordinating evening invitations below which were wrapped in a matching apple green and herb print band.
The inside of the pocketfold invitation which included an information card and a rsvp postcard is shown below.
I loved working on these invitations and, as I'm a bridesmaid at the wedding as well, I'm super excited for next March and to work on the reception stationery items to match.
I've created a moodboard below based on the apple green and cream colour scheme and with a bit of a herb theme ... so if you are looking for something similar for your wedding hopefully this will give you inspiration.
If you would like a similar bespoke design for your stationery just drop me an email at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk

Bespoke Wedding Invitations & Stationery Design Packages
Gosh can't believe it's Monday already! Such a packed weekend!

I loved drawing this venue and here are the finished invitation designs ...
If you would like to order 'Perfect Place' for your wedding stationery then you can order samples directly from the website http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/aperfectplacecollection.html or just drop me an email at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk

New Range of Digital Wedding Invitations
I'm delighted to announce that you can now buy Digital versions of some of my most popular designs!
These will be added to the website in September along with lots of other updates I'm planning and 4 brand new wedding stationery ranges .. but in the meantime you can purchase the Digital Invitations from my Etsy shop at https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/KnotsAndKisses
Digital Wedding Invitations are just that ... a personalised digital wedding invitation, which I provide in PDF and Jpeg format, which you are then able to either take to your own printers locally to get printed off or email directly to your guests .. saving on paper entirely!
For those of you on a tight budget this might allow you to have the Knots & Kisses style design you really want but perhaps print it off onto a slightly lower quality paper or card to save on money.
For those looking for a 'Green' Wedding it also provides the option of emailing your guests their invites as well .. you can always order a few matching 'physical' invitations from me as well for those guests who aren't that computer savvy just yet! And of course all of the designs have a matching range of physical reception stationery items which will still be available to buy as well.
The even greater news is that the Digital Invitation design is just a one off fee of £20-£25.00!
Once you have ordered a design from my Etsy shop I will contact you for all the wording details you require on your invitation and then proofs will be sent before the final digital files.
I hope this provides even more flexibility for those wanting to purchase Knots & Kisses designs :)

Lilac & Pink Vintage Scrapbook Style Wedding Invitations & Styling
I love creating bespoke stationery for couples. Carol contacted me .. loving my Country Garden range but wanting it adapting it for her wedding stationery with a pink rose print rather than the usual pastel ditsy print.
I of course was more than happy to oblige! I was really pleased with the results which I think give a really sweet twist on the Country Garden range.
If you would like any of the standard ranges on the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk adapting for your wedding I'm more than happy to do this for just a small fee of £25 .. just get in touch and email me at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk
To match the lovely lilac and pink colourscheme for Carol & Danny's stationery I've also created a moodboard to match ...

Bespoke Wedding Table Plan Tags
Hello March! After a gorgeous sunny day on Saturday ... ok I was working but it definitely looked gorgeous out my office window! ... and me noticing the first green shoots on my hydrangea plant in the garden, it definitely feels like spring is on its way finally. ( I hope me saying that doesn't curse everything!).
It also means that I'll be taking a short holiday from the 5th to 11th this week for a nice relaxing hotel break in the Cotswolds for a couple of nights ... followed by a probably less relaxing but lots of fun 3 nights at Centre Parcs in Longleat for a friends birthday celebrations!
So the office will be closed .... but don't worry I'll be scheduling lots of blogs whilst I'm away and the website will still be open for orders of wedding stationery samples, greetings cards (don't forget to get those Mothers Day card orders in!) and party invitation packs. All orders will be processed on my return however.
Back to today and today I'm making some bespoke table plan tags for a bride who is making her own vintage suitcase style table plan.
I do hire suitcase table plans out myself ... you can take a look at details and prices here ... http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/bespoketableplansandsigns.html , however for those people who don't live within deliverable distance of me or would prefer to do it themselves I also often just make the Table Plan Tags for people to use.
These can be hung in a suitcase like this suitcase table plan which I created and was styled by the lovely Kirsten from http://littleweddinghelper.co.uk ...
... or you could use them to attach to a mirror, board, chalkboard or even a birdcage.
Bespoke designs can be created to match your theme but here are a couple of examples of tag designs I have done for clients in the past ...
If you would like me to create a bespoke design for your Table Plan Tags just contact me via the website http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/contactus.html or email me direct at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk

Tropical Travel Inspired Bespoke Wedding Stationery
Hope you're all enjoying a fabulous bank holiday weekend! We're still on holiday here at Knots & Kisses but I wanted to line up a cracking post for you whilst I'm away!
I recently designed a bespoke wedding invitation suite for lovely couple Nicole & Adam who are getting married in Thailand next year. They wanted a fun and colourful travel inspired stationery set. We came up with several different designs and they ended up going for a different print which I'll share with you soon.
However I really loved the design below which I came up with along the way and wanted to share with you.
I love the mix of the florals with the brightly coloured map print.
If you would like a bespoke design for your wedding please don't hesitate to get in touch via the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk
Check back on the blog on Wednesday for more about this stationery and some styling ideas to match.

Art Nouveau Wedding Stationery
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend! I'm looking forward to a few days holiday from tomorrow ... so any new enquiries will be answered on my return on the 27th August. Here's hoping we have some OK weather for the bank holiday weekend as I have lots of friends coming for BBQ'ing!
Today I wanted to share with you some design work I did recently for a couple's wedding invitations.
In this instance I just provided design work for the clients to take to their own printers or print off themselves as I was already fully booked for making stationery. This is a great option that I offer to clients who may need stationery quite last minute but find that I am fully booked.
Providing print ready pdfs for the clients to print themselves is much easier for me to fit into my schedule and can be done much more last minute.
In this instance Alex and Simon wanted a subtle Art Nouveau / Fin de Siecle feel to their wedding with a antique gold and sage green colour scheme.
I came up with a few different cards and information leaflets which they could print off for their guests as invitations.
If you would like me to come up with a bespoke or art nouveau style design for your wedding then please don't hesitate to get in touch via the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

Pretty Vintage Bespoke Wedding Invitations
Ok I have to admit a bit of rain to balance all that glorious hot sunshine was nice for a while .. but I'd like my summer back please! its been torrenting it down in Devon over the last 48 hours and I'd like to be able to get back out in the garden!
Ok personal plea to the weather over! Lets get back to weddings!
I was over the moon recently to actually have an order from a family member! My younger cousin is getting married abroad and she wanted some pretty vintage inspired invitations for the reception which they are having in this country afterwards.
I was of course only to delighted to oblige and came up with the postcard size invitation below which featured a picture of the lovely couple themselves.
I also use a similar design on my range of Thank You Cards in my Greetings Card range http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/greeetings%20cards.html and it can be easily adapted to a folded card or pocketfold for your wedding stationery .. just get in touch if you would like to discuss a design http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/contact%20us.html
To go with this design .. as usual .. I've created a wedding styling moodboard to match.
Pale creams, greens and pinks are a classic wedding combination and with a bit of vintage styling and brown luggage look beautiful. I love the idea of a typewriter for guests to write their messages on and pretty scatter cushions for casual seating at a summer wedding.

Beautiful Wood Print & Lace Wedding Invitations
Onwards and upwards today and I'm really delighted to share with you this morning some bespoke wedding stationery I created recently.
I was contacted by the absolutely lovely Rachel from http://www.cotswoldweddingplanner.com/ who wanted me to create some invitations for one of her lovely couples.
The theme was rustic but beautiful .. they loved the idea of a wood print with elements of brown manila card and lace print.
The brief was to create an invitation suite which I would then post directly to their guests from Knots & Kisses HQ. This is a service that I can offer for anyone who really doesn't have the time to write and post all the invitations to their guests .. all they need to do is send me a full list of names and addresses!
Here is what I came up with ...

The envelopes were pre addressed with a bespoke label created to match the stationery and to finish the look they were lined with a hessian print liner.
I so loved this design I am very seriously thinking of making it a new range for the new season's collections at the end of Summer!
The theme for this wedding is definitely ' Rustic Luxe' and her is the moodboard I've created to match and provide you with inspiration for your wedding.

Bespoke wedding stationery with a personal twist!
Hello and all and welcome to a new week here at Knots & Kisses!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend in the sunshine. I had to work Saturday but had a lovely day off yesterday with friends round for a BBQ and a nice walk in the park :)
Today I want to share with you some bespoke Thank You Cards that I recently posted out to a lovely client of mine who I've been working with now on her wedding for over a year. its so nice to work with someone throughout the entire journey of their wedding planning and this journey is almost over, with the wedding being in August.
Sarah & Kris from the start wanted stationery very personal to them and so, as I featured on the blog last year I created an invitation design which incorporated their favourite dark green colour and a bespoke sketch of the Bride & Groom sat on a wooden bench .. which the groom makes for a living :)
I've used the same motif throughout their stationery and have also used it on the front of the simple but fun Thank You cards I recently created for them.
If you would like me to come up with a bespoke design for your wedding stationery please don't hesitate to get in touch at http://knotsandkisses.co.uk or email me at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk

A Gorgeous Lilac Rapunzel Themed Styled Shoot & Bespoke Wedding Stationery
I always love taking part and providing stationery for styled shoots in the wedding industry. There is a little bit of 'hoo ha' in the industry at the moment as to whether there are too many of these styled shoots and whether they are just a bit too 'perfect' looking for brides to ever achieve but I disagree with this sentiment. I think a good mix of styled shoots and real weddings is great .. and most styled shoots, don't forget, are put together and use 'real' wedding suppliers who could recreate the exact look for a couples wedding. I think you have to look at in the same way that most of us view 'Catwalk Fashion'. Not many people will buy any of this and wear it exactly as it appeared on the catwalk, but elements of these designs will filter down and influence what we purchase and wear from the high street.
Exactly the same with styled shoots ... get inspiration, use elements of the design and adapt it to suit your wedding!
Anyway the reason I'm blathering on about this is because I recently provided stationery for a series of three shoots commissioned by the lovely So Sassi brand of wedding dresses and organised by the fabulous Jenny of McAvoy Photography and the Love Me Love My Wedding Blog.
Styling was done my the gorgeous Jessie Thomson.
The first of these shoots was based on a Rapunzel theme with a Lilac and Lemon colourscheme ... The stationery I created was tied in a silk rope effect which I thought worked perfectly with the theme and had a very 'fairytale' quality about it.
If you would like something similar for your wedding please don't hesitate to get in touch at http://knotsandkisses.co.uk or info@knotsandkisses.co.uk

Bespoke Modern Neutral Wedding Stationery Postcards
Back to work with a vengeance this morning after a gorgeous weeks holiday in the sizzling Cornwall sun! Really did totally luck out with the weather and spent some fab time wondering round the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan :) Hope you all managed to get some sun time as well and enjoyed the blogs I had scheduled last week.
Today I want to share with you a bespoke stationery design which I created for a lovely couple last month.
Its a design where I incorporated some hand drawn elements as well as typography and loved drawing the clients venue to use on the front of the design. I'm so pleased with it I may make it the basis for a brand new range so definitely keep your eyes peeled! In the meantime if you would like me to come up with a similar design for your wedding please get in touch at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk or via the website at http://knotsandkisses.co.uk
