Real Wedding : Danielle & Christiaan's Modern Navy & White Wedding

Every so often I get the pleasure of receiving some photos from my client's of their stationery in situe on their wedding day.
Its so lovely as a wedding stationer when clients do this as stationer's are often the wedding suppliers who work in the background, never getting to see the big day and how it came together. So to see photos and see how your stationery designs fitted in to the day itself is fantastic!

So I was over the moon ( excuse the pun - the bride's maiden name was Moon! ) to receive some photos from Danielle of the stationery I designed for her and Christiaan's wedding last year.

As well as adapting my Graphic Prints range for her wedding invitations I also designed a range of posters to decorate her venue, echoing the navy chevron theme with some of their favourite quotes ... and also produced chalkboard style Menu and Order of the Day posters for guests to check and a spiral bound guest book.

You can see lots more of Danielle & Christiaan's gorgeous wedding on the B.Loved blog here http://www.blovedblog.com/weddings/danielle-christiaans-contemporary-classic-english-wedding/ as Christiaan also happens to be B.Loved founder Louise's brother.

Nautical Navy, White And Pale Pink Wedding Inspiration Moodboard

Following on from sharing the bespoke designs of wedding stationery I created for the lovely Diana & Chris on Monday's blog http://knotsandkisses.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/nautical-navy-white-pink-bespoke.html I decided to create a moodboard to go with this gorgeous nautical theme.
I've gone for the crisp White, Navy and Pale Pink colour combination which we ended up using on Diana & Chris' stationery as its such a strong and classic look and to be honest you don't need to over do it with the nautical them when it comes to styling - the combination of Navy and White will do a lot of the work for you - especially when combined with striped patterns. I couldn't resist the wedding sign made out of oars though - such a cute idea!

Here's the wedding invitation design again just to give you an idea of how it all works together ...

Nautical Navy, White & Pink Bespoke Wedding Invitations & Stationery

I'm sharing another bespoke design today - this one with a distinctly nautical feel!
Diana contacted me a few months ago to design some stationery for her wedding at the amazing Ocean Kave wedding venue in Devon.
The brief was for a distinctly nautical feel in mainly navy and white with possibly a hint of pink.
I loved working on this stationery design and I love the colour combination - it is so striking and classic! I added a anchor and compass motif to create the nautical feel and came up with two design options with one included a navy and white striped band tied with string and a monogrammed tag and the other with a seashell print and incorporating the pink element.

I was delighted that Diana loved the designs and went ahead with a combination of the two designs using the striped band but also the pink details. Here is an image of the final stationery which I posted out last month.

Hopefully these images will give you a bit more of an idea as to how my bespoke process works with the initial design ideas and then the final stationery.
If you are interested in a bespoke design for your stationery then please take a look at the bespoke page of my website at http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/bespokestationery.html and then drop me an email to info@knotsandkisses.co.uk
I look forward to hearing from you!

Nautical Coastal Wedding Ideas

I love a bit of Nautical here at Knots & Kisses! Recently I've been designing some stationery with a Nautical twist so wanted to share some ideas I'd found to inspire you if you are having a nautical or coastal wedding.
I love the combination of navy and white ... its really classic .. and with the addition of the odd anchor makes a really lovely wedding theme.
