Pretty Floral Wedding Invitations with Rustic Details

I'm always happy to tweek the design of my standard ranges of wedding stationery to better suit your wedding and today I wanted to share with you how I had done this for one couple recently.
Jo got in touch and loved my Pretty Pastels range but wanted a bit more of a rustic touch so, for just a small bespoke fee of £25, we got rid of the belly band in favour of some thin twine and swapped the white envelope for a brown kraft version.
The result looked incredibly pretty ....

You can see all of the original Pretty Pastels range which it is based on on my website at http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

New Wedding Invitations & Stationery Collection - Midnight Rose

Today I'm showcasing the second of my new ranges which I am launching this week ... Midnight Rose. You can purchase samples now via the website at http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

Midnight Rose took shape because I wanted to create a darker 'moodier' floral invitation which was more reflective of my current tastes interiors. Many of my ranges start of with inspiration from interiors as its a passion of mine and currently I have an obsession with charcoal grey!
My opinion is that not all weddings need to be filled with pastel colours so this one is for those of us that like darker and brighter palettes.

The invitations come either as an invitation on its own or as a invitation pack wrapped in a contrasting plum coloured belly band with a monogram of the couples initials.

The collection comes with a full range of matching reception stationery including placecards, table names, order of service and table plans.

Introducing the new Pretty Pastels Collection of Wedding Invitations & Stationery

I'm very excited this week as my 3 new collections of wedding stationery are now available to purchase samples of online.
I've been wanting to share these ranges for some time now and they went down incredibly well when I took them along to a recent wedding fair at Exeter Castle. So now its time that they launch on the website! http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

The first of the new collections is called Pretty Pastels.

The range, as the name suggests is all about the prettiness of spring colours and flowers. It is available in three different colour ways with the same floral motif ... so they could easily be mixed and matched for an eclectic Pastel look if you weren't going for one strict colour scheme.
The colours are lilac, pink and lemon.

There is also a full range of matching reception stationery in each colourway.

Any questions about the new range please don't hesitate to drop me an email to info@knotsandkisses.co.uk and check back tomorrow as I'll be sharing the second of the new ranges ... Midnight Rose!

Rustic Country Floral Wedding Invitations in Pink and Lace

Firstly congratulations to any of you who may have got engaged over the Christmas holidays so far!
Hopefully you will find this blog useful when planning your wedding and choosing your wedding stationery and please don't hesitate to drop me an email if you need any help :)

Today I want to share a bespoke version of my Country Garden range of Wedding Stationery, which is one of the most popular ranges I offer here at Knots & Kisses. http://knotsandkisses.co.uk/countrygardenweddingstationery.html
I am often asked by couples to tweak existing ranges to better suit their wedding and I can easily do this for just a small fee of £25.
Earlier this year I was contacted by the lovely Lorna who loved my Country Garden range but wanted a paler pink background colour to better suit her wedding and also to incorporate some real lace into the design.
I was pleased to help and removed the 'lace print' from the design ... tying real lace ribbon at the spine instead.

To match the bespoke design above I've created a inspiration moodboard .. hopefully this will inspire some of you that like the look for your wedding.
I've mixed country ginghams and rustic wooden touches with pretty lace gloves and flowers.
If you would like to discuss a bespoke design for your wedding stationery just get in touch at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk ... I'll be back in the office responding to emails on the 5th January :)

Autumnal Vintage Rose Cottage Wedding Stationery

What with the weather being so very Autumnal at the moment and the leaves finally falling off the trees I've been thinking very much about Autumn inspired wedding stationery over the last week. Weddings in the, traditionally 'off season', Autumn period are becoming more and popular with couples as they look to save money. Its also a magical time of year to get married if you are looking for beautiful lighting for your wedding photography and a backdrop of gorgeous russet coloured leaves and trees.

I will be launching another autumn themed range of stationery in the new year but today I thought I would revisit my Rose Cottage range which has a lovely rustic Autumnal feel to it in shades of blush, cream and russet red with a brown kraft paper band and envelope.

The Rose Cottage range also has vintage stamp details and is tied up in string ... giving your guests a lovely parcel to open.
Add Rose print envelope liners and address labels to complete the look and purchase from a full range of matching reception stationery.

You can purchase samples from my Rose Cottage collection via the website at http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/rosecottageweddingstaionery.html

Victorian Botanical Wedding Stationery & Invitations

Today I'm happy to share with you the Day Invitation Suite that I created for the lovely Abi & Craig who are getting married this October in Devon.
I have previously shared their Save the Date cards http://knotsandkisses.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/vintage-floral-botanical-style-save.html which were the first part of a Vintage Botanical theme that they wished to carry throughout their stationery, inspired by Victorian seed packets and botanical illustrations in shades of heritage green and pink.
Here is the final stationery design which I came up with .. a parcel tied with ivory lace with a tag to finish with their initals and date on.

If you like this design and want to order something similar for your wedding then please don't hesitate to drop me an email at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk or hang on for a little while and you'll be pleased to hear that a similar design will be launched as part of my new Autumn Collections in September on the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

Here is a botanical themed moodboard I have created to match the stationery and give you a few styling ideas ... full credits can be found on the previous Save the Date blog post ...

English Country Garden Floral Wedding Invitations & Stationery

Firstly a massive apology for the lack of blog posts over the last week ... unfortunately after getting back form my little bank holiday weekend break I got hit down by a horrible stomach bug and was ill for much of last week :(
Feeling fighting fit this morning though and ready to tackle a new week and lots of wedding stationery sample orders which came in over the weekend!

Definitely the most popular range at the moment is my Country Garden collection for which I've had lots of sample requests and is definitely proving popular with all of you having pretty floral summer weddings this year.
So here's a little reminder of the range which launched earlier this year.

A full range of samples can be ordered from my website http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/countrygardencollection.html or you can now order the Country Garden range from my Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/187790407/country-garden-floral-wedding?ref=shop_home_active_9

Mauve & Pale Green Floral Pocketfold Wedding Invitations

I hope you're all having a lovely bank holiday weekend and enjoying some sunshine!
Today I want to share with you some very pretty pocketfold invitations which I created as a bespoke order for one of my lovely clients recently.
They loved one of my previous bespoke designs which was a floral pocketfold with lace embellishment and ribbon but wanted to adapt it for their wedding with prettier fonts and a mauve and pale green colourscheme.

I think this colourscheme is so pretty and elegant .. the dusky mauve colour is enchanting and reminds me of moonlit evenings and dining alfresco.
Here are some styling ideas I've put together to match this scheme...

Vintage Floral Botanical Style Save The Date Cards & Wedding Inspiration

I've been looking forward to sharing today's stationery post since I met the lovely Abi & Craig for a bespoke consultation earlier this year!
They were after a bespoke botanical style, especially loving RHS Botanical prints and old Victorian seed packets. We had a lovely chat over tea, biscuits and their wedding Pinterest board and I came away very inspired!

I've always loved RHS prints myself .. in fact one of my guest bedrooms is decorated in this style with sage greens and pinks and botanical prints on the wall ... so I needed no further inspiration to start creating a design, initially, for Abi & Craig's Save the Date cards.
We decided on a tag style, mixing a little bit of the lace that Abi liked with the more rustic Brown Kraft style that was influencing Craig. I also incorporated a bespoke floral envelope liner to complete the look.

Here are the Save the Dates I created ... I can't wait to make their Day Invitation Packs later in the year!

I've also put together a botanical inspired moodboard in lovely sage greens and pinks to match these Save the Date cards.
If you would like to speak to me about a similar design for your wedding then please get in touch at http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

Introducing The New Country Garden Collection Of Wedding Stationery

I hope you liked the new Ombre collection of wedding stationery which I featured on the blog yesterday. http://www.knotsandkisses.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/introducing-new-knots-kisses-spring.html

Today I want to introduce you to the second of the new ranges of wedding stationery which are now available on the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk/countrygardencollection.html as part of my Spring Collection ... 'Country Garden'.

Country Garden has been inspired by my love of pastels, lace, gingham and wildflower bouquets ... perfect inspiration for a traditional English Country Garden Wedding. I wanted to use a pretty ditsy floral as the background and added stitching print detail to give it that 'handmade' feel.
The colours are bang on trend for this season with pretty mauves, pinks and olive shades mixed with a rustic brown paper print.

The Country Garden collection comes in a beautiful 350gsm heavyweight card and is available as either a standard square folded card, personalised with your details and guest names, or as a Day Invitation pack with an internal pocket, including Information and RSVP Card.
Also available is full range of matching reception stationery, including order of service and table plans, and packs of 'Ready to Write' stationery for those on a budget or in a hurry.

Make sure you check back later today as I'll be sharing a moodboard I've created to match the new Country Garden range!

Introducing the new Knots & Kisses Spring Collection of Wedding Stationery

I have so much to share with you this week I think I might burst with excitement! ( I get excited very easily!)
Today sees the launch of my new Spring Collection of stationery, including three new wedding stationery ranges, 4 new Greetings Card designs and 3 new Occasion Stationery packs! To take a look at everything just head over to the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk .

I've tried to keep things light, fresh and mainly pastel coloured for the Spring Collections .. and hopefully we'll have the weather to match them very soon!

Today I want to introduce the first of the Wedding Stationery Collections ... 'Ombre'

I love the current trend for dip-dyed and ombre .. whether that be in fabrics, clothing, interiors or weddings. I've wanted to create a stationery design to go with this for a while now ... but didn't want to rush into anything until I'd come up with a design which truly reflected 'Knots & Kisses' style.
At the end of last year I saw a beautiful fabric which combined mint and pale pink with florals and I suddenly decided that these colours and a splash of floral colour would be perfect to incorporate with the ombre to create a stationery range!

So here it is the new Ombre range ...

Of course there is a full set of stationery to match ... check back later at lunchtime for a gorgeous styling moodboard to match the new 'Ombre' range!
