Navy And Pink Botanical Wedding Invitations & Inspiration

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! As you may have seen from my instagram page https://instagram.com/knotsandkisses/ me and my other half got our DIY on this weekend and finished some lovely little projects around the house.

Back to work this morning and I'm delighted to share with you some stationery which I created for a lovely couple recently who wanted to order my Victorian Garden range but with a few bespoke changes.
Any of the ranges on my website can have the colours changed to suit your wedding scheme for a small design fee of £25, and lots of couples do this as its so simple and easy.

Gemma wanted to change the green background on the Victorian Garden range to a pale brown and incorporate a darker gold edge. Then after a bit of discussion we also decided that her idea of bringing in the colour of the navy carpet in her venue would also work really well and tie everything together - so the lace was changed to a navy colour as well.
I think the result is a really pretty striking set of stationery ...

The invitation suite came with a information card, rsvp postcard and a kraft envelope with matching envelope liners.
To go with this design I've created a inspiration moodboard to match. I think the look here is rustic but opulent incorporating the botanical ideas with the rich navy lace, and a hint of gold in vintage candlesticks and the sash.

Victorian Garden Botanical Inspired Wedding Invitations & Stationery

The third of the new ranges of wedding stationery that I'm launching this week is the Victorian Garden Collection.

Victorian Garden is a range with a English Victorian botanical feel. A couple I have been working with all year who booked a full bespoke package with me have kindly let me turn their stationery design into a full range for the website as I loved designing it so much!

The starting point for the design was their love of Victorian seed packets and Rhs botanical prints and the gorgeous green colour of their wedding venue literature. So inspired by this botanical theme and thinking very much of Victorian greenhouses and gardens I designed the stationery suite all wrapped up in beautiful white lace with a monogrammed tag.
The range also comes with a full range of matching reception stationery and table plan.

I've shared this moodboard before when I've shared the designs I've been working on for my clients .. but it fits the theme perfectly and so I can't help but use it again for the launch of the new range! It totally sums up the feel I was going for with this stationery ... Victorian Greenhouses, potted palms and beautiful florals.

Victorian Botanical Wedding Stationery & Invitations

Today I'm happy to share with you the Day Invitation Suite that I created for the lovely Abi & Craig who are getting married this October in Devon.
I have previously shared their Save the Date cards http://knotsandkisses.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/vintage-floral-botanical-style-save.html which were the first part of a Vintage Botanical theme that they wished to carry throughout their stationery, inspired by Victorian seed packets and botanical illustrations in shades of heritage green and pink.
Here is the final stationery design which I came up with .. a parcel tied with ivory lace with a tag to finish with their initals and date on.

If you like this design and want to order something similar for your wedding then please don't hesitate to drop me an email at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk or hang on for a little while and you'll be pleased to hear that a similar design will be launched as part of my new Autumn Collections in September on the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

Here is a botanical themed moodboard I have created to match the stationery and give you a few styling ideas ... full credits can be found on the previous Save the Date blog post ...
