Rustic Wedding Ideas

On Monday I shared some rustic brown Kraft wedding invitations which I'd created for one of my bespoke couples http://knotsandkisses.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/rustic-brown-kraft-cream-postcard.html and to round the week up I wanted to share with you some of my favourite ideas for rustic weddings which would work beautifully with these invitations ...

I do love a man in tweed and a gorgeous tweed waistcoat or suit looks fantastic on grooms men at rustic weddings ...

Haybales are a fantastic and cheap way of creating some rustic style ... make into seating for your guests or, as below, make into a rustic bar! ...

Handmade favours are perfect for a rustic wedding ... whether it be jams, oils or gorgeous little pots of homemade fudge like below .. tie with twine to complete the look ...

Keep flowers natural looking but pretty ... whites, pinks and greens look beautiful with hessian and twine and rustic jars and pots.

Vintage Country Autumn Wedding Shoot and Stationery

As many of you know I love designing bespoke stationery for photo shoots that are being organised by fellow wedding industry professionals.
Recently I got a call from the lovely Carolyn from the Milburn Arms http://www.milburnarms.com/ who was organising a shoot with a real Autumnal & Wildlife feel and asked if I could provide some menus and placecards for the shoot.
I obviously jumped at the chance and went with the 'Country' theme ... creating stationery with a brown tweed background and autumnal flowers.

The photography from Natalie Pluck  www.nataliepluck.com was amazing ... here are just some of my favourite shots from the day, including my stationery.

English Eccentrics Wedding Stationery - Purple, Tweed & Lace

Today I'm revisiting my English Eccentrics range of wedding stationery.
English Eccentrics was originally designed three years ago when I wanted to combine my love of the English Country Tweed Look and Victoriana and old circus posters.
Its since gone through a couple of transformations but is now a gorgeous purple and brown flat printed design with all the lace and tweed elements incorporated.

The design incorporates fairground and festival style fonts and wording as well as a pale brown paper print. A full range of matching reception stationery is available and you can purchase samples from my website at http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/englisheccentricscollection.html
