Launching New Wedding Stationery Range : Vintage Travel

I do love the beginning of a New Year! There's a great sense of anticipation as to what the coming year holds, but mainly its because I always launch a couple of new wedding stationery ranges, and it's a great way to start the year! For full details of the new ranges please visit the website www.knotsandkisses.co.uk

I'll be launching another new range next Monday but today sees the launch of the first of my new ranges ...

'Vintage Travel'

I'm quite excited about this one as its an idea I've been working on for well over a year now! I spent quite a bit of time in my twenties travelling the world and then went on to become a travel agent for 3 years before starting Knots & Kisses, so I've always desperately wanted to create a range of wedding stationery based on my love of travel.
Its one of those things though that when you want to create something based on the thing you love it always takes so much more time to get perfect and so I've been playing around with this design for some time now.

I decided that I wanted to create a range of stationery which evoked the 'golden age' of travel ... with lots of vintage maps and stamp motifs and also incorporating an airmail style border.

'Vintage Travel' can be purchased either as individual postcards with matching brown kraft envelopes or as a 'Day Invitation Pack' , with a invitation, info card and rsvp postcard presented in a special manila box envelope with a pre-addressed band wrapped around all ready to post out to your guests!

Of course their is also a full range of matching reception stationery. To keep with the theme this includes placecards in a 'luggage tag' style, as well as menus, table names and table plans and 'swing ticket' style Order of Service.

I really hope you love the range as much as I do! If you would like to order 'Vintage Travel' for your wedding further information and prices can be found on my website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk or you can drop me an email at info@knotsandkisses.co.uk

Please check back on the blog tomorrow as I'll be sharing my styling ideas for the 'Vintage Travel' range which you can use for your wedding inspiration!

Create A Vintage Chill Out Area For Your Wedding Guests!

Its been a busy weekend at Knots & Kisses and gearing up to be an even busier week with two huge reception stationery orders to create and get out to lovely couples in time for their big day. They are also two totally different styles which is nice ... one a vintage floral and rustic twine look, and the other a striking black and ivory Art Deco theme. I'll hopefully be able to show you all the pictures in July once the clients have got married :)

On to today and I want to share with you an amazing concept for styling your wedding which was introduced to me by Helen Ruff of the lovely www.doilydays.co.uk .
They have recently introduced a 'Styled Living Room Set' which is available to hire from them for your wedding!
The 1970s living room will be transported and completely set up at your venue. A great chillout area and perfect backdrop for photos. The set includes furniture and authentic props such as drinks cabinet, fake fruit, kitsch ornaments, retro jigsaw, old magazines, plants etc.

I personally am absolutely in love with this idea. I don't think enough weddings have a separate area guests can escape to or chill out in during the day or evening :)

Gorgeous New Wedding Fashion Collection

I just had to share with you today the new Siren Song collection from U.S. website www.bhldn.com !
Talk about beautiful and evocative ... I think they've got a beautiful 1920s feel with a little hint of the Russian Folk look in there as well.
Stunning inspiration for your wedding attire ... and proof certain that you don't need to lose your sense of style on your wedding day!

More Logo Design Work

Hope you're all having a lovely week!
I wanted to share with you today some more Logo Design & Corporate Identity work I've done recently for another business who contacted me at the Milton Keynes Vintage Wedding Fair.

The lovely Amanda came to the fair and contacted me subsequently to help her with some art work for her website and business cards. She is currently in the process of renovating some gorgeous vintage caravans to hire out for glamping and decided to name the business after the very cute Billy One Horn ... a goat on her farm :)
You can check out the progress of the business on her website www.billyonehorn.co.uk

Here is the header, business card  & postcard designs I came up with for Billy One Horn ...

Vintage Floral & Lace Wedding Stationery & Styling

Its been a busy week here at Knots & Kisses. I've had two large orders of pocketfold style invitations to finish and ship out for clients ... but at least the sun has been shining on my desk :)

One of those pocketfold designs features a vibrant Pink floral on a duck egg blue background and its trimmed with lace and ribbon for a vintage feel. Inside is a matching information card and a vintage looking RSVP postcard .. all ready for the guests to post back to you.

I really loved designing this invite for Ellena & Jonathan, and I've come up with a few styling ideas to match.
I think this invitation is perfect for a Sunny Country Garden wedding and so I've gone with that theme .. adding touches of lace and of course a fabulous retro ice cream van from www.vintagescoops.co.uk !
