Its been all about Autumn on the blog this week ... and with a distinct change in the weather its no wonder we're all thinking of wrapping up a bit more!
I love Autumn weddings ... as long as its dry the idea of wrapping up a bit on your wedding day and kicking through the leaves and pine cones has always appealed!

Strawberries & Cream Wedding Inspiration

Its been such a gorgeous sunny week this week, and of course Wimbledon has been on the tv in the studio all week as well. So, despite the disappointing early exit of Andy from the Tennis, today I have decided to do a Strawberries & Cream themed post for my 'Weekly Wedding Ideas'.

Weekly Wedding Inspiration - Place Settings

Hope you've all had a lovely sunny week ... its been gorgeous here in Devon and I'm looking forward to a weekend off to celebrate my lovely other half's birthday today :) I'll also be popping along to the 'Crikey Its Vintage' Fair at Killerton near Exeter on Sunday ... there is going to be a wedding section organised by Blue Fizz Events so hopefully some of you will pop along for some inspiration too!

This week I've seen lots of gorgeous ideas on blogs and websites for beautiful place settings for your wedding.
Its really easy to forget about dressing your tables properly ... many of us think of what to provide as a favour and ordering a centre piece from a florist, but forget to 'tie the look together', leaving tables which look a little bit disparate and bare. The best way to create a strong look and theme is to add runners, napkins and of course stationery which create an impact and tie a look together.

Weekly Wedding Inspiration - Pale Green & Blue

This week whilst scouring the web for wedding pretty I've been mostly inspired by some really beautiful and delicate green and blue colours.
It makes me think of English beach weddings .. not your full blown tropical kind but a gorgeous windswept pebble beach with a venue overlooking it.

Weekly Wedding Inspiration - Pink & Gold Sequins

I've come over all girly & glitzy this week and am really being inspired by all thinks pink and gold in weddings!
I love pink but usually when its toned down and mixed with other colours .. but I'm becoming increasingly attracted to going very girly and glamorous and mixing pink with gold.
Sequins are everywhere in weddings at the moment so bling it up with bright pinks and sequin table cloths or gold sequinned shoes.

Weekly Wedding Inspiration : Oranges & Lemons, A Citrus Theme

I found a gorgeous picture of a wedding cake this week whilst I was browsing Pinterest http://www.pinterest.com/knotsandkisses/ with gorgeous little oranges on. I've long been a fan of incorporating food into a wedding theme ... I'm a bit of a foodie :) ... so love weddings with a slight Mediterranean look incorporating vines, herbs, oranges and lemons. If you keep it rustic you can do this 'theme' without it looking too themed if that makes sense!

Weekly Wedding Inspiration - Botanical Inspired Florals

This week I've been mainly working on an order of some very pretty Save the Date Tags. The couple in question were inspired by RHS botanical prints and old Victorian seed packets and I can't wait to show you the finished result in a couple of weeks!
I've also been working on lots of samples and orders of my Tropical Travel range of stationery http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/tropicaltravelcollection.html ... so this week really has been a 'flower fest'!

Inspired by this I've decided that to round the week off this weeks 'weekly wedding inspiration' is going to be all about florals and flowers for your wedding.

First up is this beautiful pastel bouquet from http://twigandtwinedesign.com ... I just love the addition of thistles, succulents and especially cotton ... which is something I've never seen before!

Whilst I'm on holiday ( although its the Cotswolds not the Caribbean!) I thought I'd concentrate my Weekly Wedding Inspiration on some gorgeous beach themed wedding ideas.

Weekly Wedding Inspiration - Sequins!

Firstly massive apologies for the lack of blog posts this week! Its been one of those weeks here at Knots & Kisses! I've been running around like a loon getting clients orders made and sent, posting large quantities of greetings card stock out to new retailers ... exciting! ... and meeting up with some lovely new bespoke clients over tea and biscuits. So I'm afraid the blog was the first thing to take a back seat ... slapped wrist for me!

Anyway I wanted to end the week on a high note and share with you something I'm becoming slightly obsessed with at the moment and that's sequins in weddings!
Which is odd as I've really never been much of a sequin or sparkle kind of girl! I went through a bit of a faze at Uni when I bought a gorgeous backless gold sequin top which, to be honest, I didn't wear much but it looked beautiful hanging up on my wardrobe door!
Since then though I've been much more pretty floral prints and wooly jumpers.

But there is so much gorgeous sequin pretty around for weddings at them moment I just can't help but get a little obsessed.
Hence the smattering of sequins to style my new Ombre collection ...

Radiant Orchid, Lavender & Mauve Wedding Inspiration

This year Pantone has declared the colour of the year as Pantone Radiant Orchid ... and so one of my new designs is definitely featuring some gorgeous lavender and mauve colours. Weekly Wedding Inspiration - Pale Gold & A Hint Of Red

This week for my Weekly Wedding Inspiration I've been inspired by some gorgeous inspiration in pale golds with just a hint of red. Everyone loves a bit of sparkle and shimmer at the moment and I think it makes a gorgeous and elegant alternative to a full on red and gold winter wedding theme .. and just looks that little bit more modern.
