Bespoke Boxed Kraft, Lace, Hessian and Pink Rose Wedding Invitations

This year has so far been incredibly busy - not least because of a large order I received from the lovely Sophia & Saverio from Switzerland ( yes I post internationally! ).

Sophia had seen an image of my boxed kraft and lace invitations on Instagram ... you can follow my Instagram account at https://instagram.com/knotsandkisses/ ... and got in touch from Switzerland to see if I could make 120 of these invitations for her wedding in Italy this year.

She also wanted to add to the design with a small pink paper rose and also incorporate the location of the wedding by lining the box envelopes with a map print of Italy. I loved working on these as the map print gave a really nice vintage feel to the design.

Each invitation comes in its own Kraft box envelope which is tied with string and pre-addressed to your guests.

Classic Navy & Lace Wedding Stationery

I don't know about you but I can't believe it's the last day of September and tomorrow we're in October! As many of you may know October is going to be a very exciting month here at Knots & Kisses .. with the re-launch of the website, alongside 4 new Wedding Stationery ranges, new designs in my Simply K&K Ready to Write packs, new Greetings Cards designs and a whole new section of 'Occasion Stationery' packs .. including lots of lovely party invites! I'm so excited and I'll be starting to share little previews of the new items later this week ... all ready for the launch on the 21st October!

Back to today and I wanted to share with you a very pretty but classic design I worked on for a lovely Bride in Australia a few weeks ago. I do bespoke quotes for international orders so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you are from further afield!

Sarah wanted a very classic gatefold design with pretty white lace and navy ribbon. A script style font inside completed the classic look.

I think the Navy and Ivory colour combination calls for a bit of a classic vintage look when styling ...  so here are some ideas ...

Classic Cream Lace Bespoke Stationery & Wedding Styling

Wow can't believe its Monday already! The last week has flew past in a complete blur!
Its been very exciting here at Knots & Kisses. I've had lots of gorgeous stationery orders to make .. please note I'm now fully booked till September so please please get your orders in early if you want to book with me ... its heartbreaking having to turn so many orders away because I can't fit you all in :(
The other thing that has made this week so exciting is that the move to Devon, which has been on the cards for a while, is suddenly all systems go! We've had an offer on the flat so we're off down to Devon again house hunting next weekend!

Anyway back to business!
I've recently designed some bespoke wedding menus for a customer who wanted something simple and classic for their wedding incorporating ivory lace. I came up with the two designs below.

As I photographed them against my trusty wicker sewing box it got me to thinking about how a simple classic ivory and lace style can be instantly breathed new life into by using varying shades of browns and woods as a background colour for all that beautiful lace. It makes it stand out more but is still very neutral.

On this thought I've collected a few ideas below for styling for a wedding ... I really love the upcycled chalkboard frame which could have all manner of messages for your guests on! I also adore all that lovely glassware against the dark wood table ... you could pile them up with cheese and cakes for a fantastic dessert table display :)
