Pentillie Castle Wedding Fair

I had a fantastic time on Sunday at the Pentillie Castle Wedding Fair and despite the forecasts it was a gorgeous, if slightly blustery, day with plenty of sunshine and lots of visitors.

I had a stand displaying my stationery in the Blue Fizz Events Marquee and my lovely friend Dannii came up from London to help me, whilst my other half went around handing out flyers and taking photos.

( I'm the one who can't seem to be able to look at the camera!)

There were lots of other amazing exhibitors ... so many I couldn't possibly cover them all in the one blog post but here are some of my highlights ...

The lovely Charlotte Atkinson was showcasing her service of on the day wedding paintings ... she was even painting 'live' during the day ... her work was stunning ... as a part time painter and illustrator myself I found it amazing how quickly she was able to paint stunning images! http://www.watercolourweddings.com/

The ladies from Cornish Gardens Confetti Company were great to chat to, being set up directly opposite my stand, and had the most gorgeous sachets of real flower petal confetti. http://www.cornishgardensconfetticompany.co.uk/

The guys from the Swing Kings ... and their adorable pug! ... were in the Blue Fizz Marquee with us and were absolutely brilliant ... entertaining us with some Rat Pack classics throughout the afternoon www.theswingkings.co.uk

The Little Lark Cake Company were also in the Blue Fizz marquee. My other half strangely spent quite a bit of time hovering around their lovely stand as was raving about their salted caramel cupcakes and meringues all afternoon! http://littlelarkcakes.co.uk/

One of my favourite wedding suppliers Elle from Inspire Hire was set up in the other marquee with a bounty of gorgeous props and furniture you can hire from her for your wedding. Her styling services are amazing and I adore her 'Love' illuminated sign! http://inspire-hire.co.uk/

There was a great selection of food and catering options in the castle forecourt which can be hired for your big day and also kept us all fed and watered during the fair. I had paella from Big Pan Parties which was amazing!

The lovely Mel from Maxi Photography was set up right next to me and was busy all day .. her photography was just gorgeous with a really modern but elegant style http://www.maxiphotography.com/

Another fantastic photographer their on the day was the lovely Clare Kinchin who had some stunning portrait shots and a great set up ... I was rather jealous of her large star sign with her name in! http://www.clarekinchinphotography.co.uk/
