A Sunny Wedding Showcase in Devonport

Yesterday I had the pleasure of exhibiting at a gorgeous little wedding fair in Devonport Guildhall, Plymouth.
Organised by the brand new wedding directory for the Plymouth area The Bespoke Bride Guide Plymouth http://thebespokebrideguide.co.uk/   the fair was a fantastic selection of suppliers from around the area.
I met up with some old friends in the wedding industry such as Little Lark Cakes http://www.littlelarkcakes.co.uk/ and the Cornish Celebrants http://www.cornishcelebrants.co.uk/
and chatted to some lovely new suppliers including florists Green & Pip and Flourish http://www.withaflourish.co.uk/, and the lovely http://www.mrsmarvellous.co.uk/ , http://www.cybelsvintagehire.co.uk/, Truly Madly Deeply Wedding Stylist and http://www.peppermintbridal.co.uk/

Definitely all worth checking out if you are getting married in the Plymouth area!

Here are some pictures of my stand on the day and me in my new bright yellow skirt!
If you look closely you might spot some sneak peeks of new ranges I'll be launching in August!

Gorgeous New Country House Wedding Venue In Devon

On Sunday I had the great pleasure of visiting a stunning new wedding venue in Devon.
Bridwell Park, a beautiful Georgian House and home to the Mountbatten family is now available to hire as an exclusive wedding venue and I was blown away by the gorgeous setting amongst its own deer park. I took along my camera and took a few photos of the day plus am sharing some of the Bridwell's own photos of the venue as well.

On Sunday Bridwell hosted a wedding showcase with some other fantastic suppliers from around the South West area organised by the lovely Blue Fizz Events www.bluefizzevents.co.uk who had a lovely marquee set up on the lawn and further suppliers in the spectacularly pretty Orangery which is a perfect area for wedding receptions and looked amazing with a ceiling strewn in twinkly fairy lights. I can really imagine this area and the almost hidden lawn in front making a very atmospheric magical wedding reception.

I had the pleasure of being shown around the gorgeous house which, unexpectedly ... I'm not a big fan of overly grand imposing houses ..., had a gorgeous cosy and intimate feel with lots of beautiful period rooms which could be put to various uses over the course of your wedding weekend.
In fact they have gone as far as licensing every part of Bridwell for marriage ceremonies giving an amazing degree of flexibility!
There is a gorgeous chapel within the grounds which is the obvious place for a ceremony - and this was dressed with absolutely beautiful country flowers on Sunday.

However there are also light spacious Georgian rooms within the house which would also be perfect and the sunny yellow entrance hall and the incredibly cosy library room which would both be amazing for a intimate wedding.

Exclusive use of the house means you can really feel at home for the weekend of your wedding and you and your guests can potter about and make use of the fantastic facilities which include a cinema room and this stunning country kitchen.

For more information take a look at Bridwell's website http://www.bridwell.co.uk ... I can thoroughly recommend a visit!
