The brides father had taken some gorgeous photos of sunflowers on a holiday to France and they wanted these to be incorporated into a modern stationery look.
What I came up with were ribbon trimmed pockets with the invitation poking out and showing the sunflower image. Here are some pictures of the stationery I created and the hand painted table plans I did to match.
Inspired by this stationery I thought I'd put together a few styling ideas based around gorgeous yellow and black sunflowers. Sunflowers are really versatile and you could easily mix them with hedgerow flowers and other colours such as purples and pinks for a real village green feel. However I've been inspired by the stationery colours above and gone for a striking limited colour palette which would work just as well in a glamorous hotel as a marquee or barn.
