Gorgeous Wedding Accessories from Natasha Jane!

I don't normally do a supplier spotlight on a Wednesday as well, but just had to share with you some amazing bridal headpieces I found recently through good old Twitter.
They are made by the lovely Natasha Jane at http://www.natashajane.co.uk/ and have that stunning vintage feel you know I love! I particularly adore the Kathleen headband, below, which would be perfect with a vintage 1930's style satin dress and our Bejewelled range of stationery http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/
Here Natasha tells us a bit about herself and how she creates these stunning designs....

"I am originally from Chippenham in wiltshire, I moved to Birmingham to study for a Fashion Design degree in 2001 where I met 'the boyfriend' and have been here ever since.

I have worked in many different professions such as bridal consultancy, interior design and styling and visual merchandising but designing headbands is what I love to do.

I design from my home, I have a day job as a concession manager so my designing is done when I get home and on my days off, this is why my lead times are long. (4-5 weeks) If I do have a bride with a urgent request I am usually able to accommodate this though.
I get inspiration from many different places, I look at organic forms like flowers and leaves and use the shapes for my designs.

I love the vintage look of old hollywood starlets and imagine what they would wear to evenings out and social events. I always make sure I am creating something special, glamourous and unique so my brides feel like vintage style princesses.
My favourite piece is Agatha from the Elite Collection - I never do a sketch of how my designs will look, I just start twisting the wire and see where I end up thins one was special as its so big and showered with crystals!

I also love Hetty too, its so sweet and is really delicate, it looks fabulous in the glass beads as it is now, but when its made in full swarovski crystal it is so sparkly.

I also do bespoke orders so anything you are looking for, I will design and create. All I need is a colour theme, style of wedding or party and anything you want me to include like a theme.

As I am not married yet, its easy to get caught up in the wedding excitement working in the job I have, I think when my day comes I would like a vintage theme. I would have beautiful yummy cupcakes, a victorian inspired wedding dress with lots of gathers and of course a handmade bespoke headband by me.

Enjoy being a bride to be and make sure you get what you want!

I have a Facebook page , Twitter page @NJheadwear and the website http://www.natashajane.co.uk/ so please do join me"

  1. Lovely feature, Nikki! I'm a big fan of Natasha's pieces, they are exquisite! It's fascinating that she doesn't do a sketch, how amazing to let your creativity run free! My favourite is Hetty, so girly and cute! x

  2. Natasha Jane did a great job of highlighting the faces of each bride in the picture. Many bridal headbands can be bought from bridal boutiques, online retailers, and accessory shops. I will also recommend to my friend to check Natasha Jane's website and see if she can have one for her wedding day that will happen in Long Island wedding venues in NY.
