Introducing the New Bohemian Beach Range of Wedding Invitations & Stationery

Today I'm showcasing the last of my new ranges which I am launching this week ... Bohemian Beach. You can purchase samples now via the website at http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

Bohemian Beach came about as a design through some bespoke stationery I designed for the fabulous team at Blue Fizz Events who organised a stunning styled wedding shoot up on the North Devon Coast last year. The results were spectacular as you can see here http://www.wedmagazine.co.uk/bohemian-beach-wedding-style-set-adrift.html and I loved the stationery so much that I decided to develop it and add it to my regular ranges!

The invitations come either as an invitation on its own or as a invitation pack wrapped in a contrasting patterned belly band, and with a full range of matching reception stationery.

Rustic Devon 'Set Adrift' Wedding Styled Shoot with Beach Invitations

I always love designing wedding stationery for photo shoots which have been organised by other wedding professionals to provide inspiration to couples as a starting point to planning their wedding.
Some people dismiss the shoots as 'pie in the sky' and 'unachievable' for real brides ... but you only have to look at some of the 'real weddings' featured on blogs these days to see that real couples are getting more and more imaginative with their weddings and lots of elements from shoots are being incorporated even if they can't afford to recreate the look in its entirety.
Its a great way of introducing suppliers to couples as well so I'm always happy to take part.

A few month ago I was asked by the lovely team from Blue Fizz Events to design some stationery for a shoot they were creating on the North Devon Coast called 'Set Adrift'.
The shoot was set at 'Braunton Burrows' ... an absolutely stunning location with a perfectly wrecked boat on the beach already for stunning photos!
The brief was very bohemian,  blue lagoon meets the North Devon coastline ... and I designed some stationery with a rustic modern theme using driftwood and compass prints with a little bit of Aztec print. Here are the results! ...

Beach And Ocean Inspired Boarding Pass Style Wedding Invitations

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and managed to grab a little of the sunshine that was floating about this weekend! I had a lovely day on Sunday at the World Inspired Tents Open Day at Darts Farm in Topsham .. enjoying the warmth of the open fire pits in the Tipi Tents and catching up with a few lovely wedding industry folk.

Today though I want to share with you a bespoke design which I worked on recently for some clients of mine who are getting married next to the sea in Turkey later this year.
They wanted a boarding pass style invitation in its own pocketfold so they could include lots of information for the guests who were coming, and loved the idea of a simple design in tiffany green and coral colours with 'ocean' motifs.

Here's the design I came up with ( the details have obviously been changed to protect my clients privacy ) ...

I loved working on this colour combination as it looks so fresh and summery.
Here are some styling ideas I've come up with to match ... I'm definitely thinking along the lines of lots of gorgeous white floaty fabric to go with the beach theme.

Beach Theme Wedding Ideas

Whilst I'm on holiday ( although its the Cotswolds not the Caribbean!) I thought I'd concentrate my Weekly Wedding Inspiration on some gorgeous beach themed wedding ideas.
I've tried to look for more alternative and boho ideas ... rather than the traditional starfish and turquoise details you see lots of for beach themed weddings.
So driftwood details with beautiful blowsy flowers and gorgeous lanterns dressing tables is exactly what I was after ....

If you are looking for cute retro themed stationery for your beach wedding then take a look at my Candy Stripe range in Aqua & Mocha at http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

Have a great weekend all!
