Some people dismiss the shoots as 'pie in the sky' and 'unachievable' for real brides ... but you only have to look at some of the 'real weddings' featured on blogs these days to see that real couples are getting more and more imaginative with their weddings and lots of elements from shoots are being incorporated even if they can't afford to recreate the look in its entirety.
Its a great way of introducing suppliers to couples as well so I'm always happy to take part.
A few month ago I was asked by the lovely team from Blue Fizz Events to design some stationery for a shoot they were creating on the North Devon Coast called 'Set Adrift'.
The shoot was set at 'Braunton Burrows' ... an absolutely stunning location with a perfectly wrecked boat on the beach already for stunning photos!
The brief was very bohemian, blue lagoon meets the North Devon coastline ... and I designed some stationery with a rustic modern theme using driftwood and compass prints with a little bit of Aztec print. Here are the results! ...
