Sweet & Retro - Candy Stripe Wedding Stationery

I think retro sweet packaging is one of my favourite things in the world ... I can think of nothing better than visiting a proper old sweet shop and filling up a traditional brown paper bag full of pastel coloured sweets! My personal favourites ... candy necklaces and love heart sweets.

This love has inspired one of the best selling of my wedding stationery ranges ... Candy Stripe http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/candystripecollection.html

I designed the range in three perfect candy colour combinations, which can be bought as a set or mixed and matched as you wish. I'll even create bespoke colour combinations for your wedding.
From the perfectly summery pink and sage, the sherbet inspired lemon and grey or the seaside aqua & mocha .. there's a colour combination to suit!

The range recently had a bit of revamp when my website was relaunched and you can now purchase matching envelope liners, address labels, guest books and ready to write budget invitations to match the range.

To order samples of the Candy Stripe or to view any of the other collections of wedding stationery just visit the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

To match the Candy Stripe range I've produced three moodboards to allow you to see how you could style this range to suit your wedding.

Candy Stripe Wedding Stationery in Lemon & Grey

Its flat out here at Knots & Kisses .. lots of gorgeous reception stationery to finish for clients before I head off on holiday for a week or so at the end of August.
So I thought today I'd revisit one of my most popular ranges of wedding stationery which I haven't touched on in a while here on the blog ... Candy Stripe.

I've had quite a few samples flying out the door for the Lemon & Grey colourscheme in this range recently so this is the one I thought I'd feature.
It's a pretty but modern colour scheme and I've definitely found more and more couples going for yellow as a theme for their weddings this year. This version is a subtle lemon sherbet colour and mixing it with grey gives a little bit of a modern edge I think.

Candy Stripe was born out of my love of old fashioned sweets and their packaging. You can purchase samples of the range via the website at http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/candy%20stripe.html

Sherbet Coloured Candy Stripe Wedding Stationery & Inspiration

Firstly apologies for a lack of blog post on Friday! It was a mentally busy week here last week and I've spent all weekend working so this morning's blog post comes with a rather large yawn lol!

Today I wanted to share with you a bespoke version I have been working on recently of my Candy Stripe range.
I was contacted by a lovely couple who wanted to adapt the range and mix two of the colours in the range Pink & Lemon. I have to say once I put it together I did start wondering why I hadn't created a version of the range in this colour combination in the first place!
It works really well and really echoes the retro sweet bag looking I was going for with Candy Stripe with its sherbet colours.

It got me to thinking how fantastic a wedding would look in pink and lemon. So here are some of the design ideas I've had ... I'm loving the idea of mason jars filled with pink lemonade!

A Pastel Apricot & Grey Candy Stripe Wedding Stationery

Good Morning! Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I'm looking forward to an incredibly busy week here at Knots & Kisses with three large stationery orders to be made and sent on their way to lovely couples.

One of the orders I've been working on recently is for a bespoke version of my Candy Stripe range http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/candy%20stripe.html . Candy Stripe is a lovely retro pastel range reminiscent of old sweet bags with a brown paper wrapping. It comes in 3 different colourways, but is defiantely one of the ranges of Wedding Stationery I design which can easily be changed to suit the colour of your wedding.

The order I've currently been working on is for a lovely Apricot & Grey wedding colourscheme. I loved the idea of this when the bride approached me about it as I think adding grey to a colour combination can give a really modern edge currently.

Here are a few more ideas on how to style your wedding with this colour combination ...

A Pretty Pastel Candy Inspired Wedding Shoot!

I'm delighted to end the week by sharing with you all some photos from a fantastic Wedding Inspiration Photo Shoot which I provided stationery for a few months ago.
Organised by the lovely Sara from fab wedding blog http://www.underthevintageveil.com/ .. I was delighted to lend some of my Candy Stripe range of Wedding Stationery http://www.knotsandkisses.co.uk/candy%20stripe.html as this was exactly the look I had been thinking of when I designed the range!

The photography was done by the fantastic http://www.emmalucyphotography.com/ and the shoot recently appeared in the very first issue of Unique Bride magazine which we were all very chuffed about!
I hope you like the photos as much as I did and it provides inspiration for your big day.
( I for one as a life long hater of balloons at weddings never realised they could look so cool & contemporary!)
