I know its usually all about weddings on the blog but I'm also pretty obsessed with interiors .. vintage especially ... and love it when I find a new shopping obsession! So just had to share with you my new crush Winter's Moon http://www.wintersmoon.bigcartel.com/ which I discovered on twitter recently.

Chock full of gorgeous vintage homewares and accessories I can see lots of this being added to my Christmas list this year! I especially love the formica topped table and vintage crockery which would look amazing in my kitchen!

 

 

They also do bespoke upholstery and handmade items.

Mid Century & Quirky Homewares

As many of you may know .. or not if you've just started reading the blog! ... I also have a bit of a passion for interiors! I'm forever driving my other half up the wall by coming up with new ideas for décor in our house .. or something quirky which I like the idea of and want him to make as I can't find exactly what I want in a shop anywhere!
So fun and quirky homeware shops are right up my street.
Today I thought I'd share with you some of my favourites and my current favourite products in their online shops ... stuff that I would love to squeeze into our home if only I had space .. or another room to decorate!

Number Fifteen is an online boutique selling homewares and gifts. My main obsession on this site is their prints section which has some really fantastic original artwork. I love this telephone print below by James Paterson.

Full of gorgeous Scandinavian and Mid Century design ... I love this boutique run by the gorgeous Hayley ( who I helped with the design for the logo! ).
I already have the Panda Print cushion sitting proudly in my lounge but would also love the bits and pieces below ...

Finally I'm a little bit obsessed with Rockett St George. If I'm not buying things directly from this site I'm asking my other half if he can make something similar at home!

My Ideal Home!

Hopefully you've all had a good week and the turn in the weather conditions isn't getting everyone too down. I have to say although I love the sunshine the fact that me and my other half ended up lighting a fire and cosying up under a tartan blanket with a glass of port the other night definitely reminded me how much I also love cosy winter nights!
Its this time of year when it starts to get autumnal that I start thinking about doing things on the house and updating my décor. It drives OH to distraction that I like to update things on a sometimes yearly basis as my tastes change so often!

So today I thought I'd go off the subject of weddings for a while and share with you my favourite home decorating ideas at the moment from my Pinterest 'home decor' board.
As you can see my tastes are eclectic .. and its difficult to do some of these things as we are currently still in rented ... but hopefully I'll be able to incorporate some of these ideas into my already fairly eclectic home :)

 

I love this sumptuous teal sofa! I'd use this in my bedroom as our lounge is more warm tones of teak, grey and red.

 

 

Again I love the teal colour .. but also the retro side board which would look fantastic in my lounge!

 

 

Not for everyone but I love the idea of this display of skulls and antlers against a dark grey background in my hallway or boot room area :)

 

 

More gorgeous ideas ... I've sort of recreated the large chalkboard wall in my kitchen as best as I can by making a large framed blackboard to hang on the wall ... as near as I'm going to get with a rented property!

Fantastic Homewares, Gifts & Accessories Shop!

Its still pretty busy here at Knots & Kisses ... lots of stationery orders and proofs to do this week before I take a little holiday next week. (Don't worry I'll be scheduling lots of posts whilst I'm gone!).

Today I wanted to share with you one of my new favourite online shops www.southwoodstores.co.uk . The lovely Hayley Southwood of the Breathe Happiness blog has set up shop selling quirky Scandinavian inspires homewares and accessories .. and I for one think my credit card is going to take a hammering!

I actually helped Hayley by designing the logos for her new business, which were inspired by London street signs and go really well with the clean modern look of her new online shop.
