More Pictures of Fabulous Wedding Festival!

Carrying on from yesterday's post, today I wanted to share with you more images from the Fabulous Wedding Festival that I exhibited at on Saturday at Muddifords Court in Devon.

The Tipi tent that I was exhibiting in was full to the brim with lots of fantastic wedding suppliers and was pretty much always busy throughout the day.
The lovely Jessie Thomson www.jessiethomson.co.uk had a very busy stand all day and lots of fantastic props to play with ...

Nat from Jolly Good Wedding www.jollygoodwedding.co.uk also had a table in the Tipi which was styled beautifully with thick log cut place settings ...

Elle from Inspire Hire had a really beautifully style table with a lemons theme in the Tipi .. incredibly striking and summery colours! ...

Lots more to be found in the tent aswell ...

There were lots of fantastic things outside as well .. including a brilliant food and drinks area with lots of fab vintage vans and caravans clustered around a fire providing food and drink all day. (The wood fired pizzas from Pizza Monkey were amazing!).

Further on from that there were photographers exhibiting in their own little tent and of course the big top, which hosted the music and catwalk shows as well as some more great suppliers.

A Fabulous Weekend at The Wedding Festival!

Hope you've all had a fantastic weekend! I have to say I'm pretty exhausted but had a brilliant time at the first 'Fabulous Wedding Festival' hosted at Muddifords Court in Devon on Saturday.
I met some fantastic couples looking for wedding stationery and also some other lovely suppliers which made for a fantastic day even though the weather really didn't play ball! There were quite a few of us who were huddled around the fire pit in the Tipi tent later on in the afternoon :)

My fantastic other half was helping me out on the day and went round and took as many photos as possible so I could share with you.
Even without blue skies the festival site looked fantastically colourful with the banners, big top tent and the tipi tent sent up ...

I had my stand set up in the Tipi tent, supplied by World Inspired Tents, managing to get a spot right next to the fire, which was lovely later! Thanks to the lovely Julie at The Flower Consultant in Okehampton www.flowerconsultant.co.uk for the gorgeous jug of flowers she provided for my stand.

I also provided stationery for the Shippen Barn, which was laid out with tables dressed ready for a wedding reception and later hosted a sit down 3 course meal.
The tables looked fantastic ... especially as each stylist had gone for such a different theme! I designed stationery for the 'Colourful Kitsch' & 'Romantic Blue' Tables by Devon Vintage China www.devonvintagechina.co.uk below ...

And also for the 'Kama' Bollywood Inspired Table by Jolly Good Wedding www.jollygoodwedding.com ...

The barn also had some amazing styled tables from Inspire Hire http://www.inspire-hire.co.uk/ .. creating a gorgeous Cherry theme and A Mad Hatters Dinner Party Table, and a stunning Bohemian Dreaming table from Jessie Thomson www.jessiethomson.co.uk with some fantastic homemade dream catchers!

I also made the table plan for the Banquet area which we mounted onto an old barn door.

I'll be sharing even more photos and some of the great suppliers who were exhibiting with me in the Tipi tent on tomorrow's blog so make sure you check back!
A massive thank you to Becky and Helen from Fabulous Wedding Festival for organising such a great event!

An English Eccentrics Wedding & Stationery

Welcome to a new week here at Knots & Kisses!
We've had a few developments over the weekend ... as promised on Friday you can now purchase the new designs in the Greetings Card Range direct from the website http://knotsandkisses.co.uk

You will also find on the website that we have had a few changes and all prices for Wedding Stationery are now inclusive of postage & packaging.
I felt this would make things a lot easier for customers when purchasing and it also means a much fairer system in which you are only paying for postage on exactly how many items you order.
Please let me know your feedback and what you think.

Today I wanted to revisit my English Eccentrics range of Wedding Stationery.
I've been thinking a lot about this one lately .. with a few sample enquiries coming in and also the upcoming Fabulous Wedding Festival I'm exhibiting at ... the English Eccentrics range just seems to fit in perfectly with a festival vibe.
So here it is again with some styling ideas to match ....

The Perfect Venue For A Festival Wedding!

Many of you may have gathered over the months of reading my blog that I am a bit partial to a festival style wedding! My other half and I met at the Isle of Wight Festival and so, if we were ever to get married, this is definitely the style of wedding I would go for.
I love the idea of a relaxing day outdoors ( with emergency marquees in case it rains of course! ) filled with good music, food and friends.

I was therefore delighted to find out that the lovely Amanda from 'Billy One Horn' www.billyonehorn.co.uk , who I met at the Milton Keynes Vintage Wedding Fair earlier this year and did some logo design work for, has started to hire out her gorgeous farm for Weddings!

She has already been providing gorgeous glamping caravans and has now branched out, with the help of the girls from Festival Brides http://festivalbrides.co.uk/fb-venuesland-hire to provide weddings.
Festival Brides is a great blog which provides lots of great inspiration for those of us that love a Festival Wedding and also provides an increasing list of land hire options for your wedding as well.

Billy One Horn has joined this list ...

If you are looking for a festival wedding venue with a vintage twist then this field is perfect for you. Located on a farm near Milton Keynes, the field sits amongst 40 acres of ridge and furrow grassland, pretty trees and has a quaint beck running through the middle. You can marry under a decorated tree whilst your family and friends sit on hay bales amongst the styled retro caravans! It’s a beautiful and natural setting for a relaxed festival wedding.

The field has great access with plenty of space for camping. Guests also have the option of staying at the farm’s boutique B&B and vintage caravans.

When picturing your wedding here, think relaxed and informal with plenty of vintage style options and countryside as far as the eye can see!

To find out more about hiring this venue for your wedding either contact Festival Brides at festivalbrides@gmail.com or find out more from the Billy One Horn website http://www.billyonehorn.co.uk/weddings/
